As a Catholic (and fellow pipe smoker) I want to thank you for presenting an excellent talk on the Law and Gospel as it has given me a clearer understanding of reformed theology. As a Catholic, I believe that we are no longer under the old testament ceremonial (ie. circumcision) and judicial laws as these laws never brought about grace. However, Catholics believe that we are still bound by the moral law (as Jesus pointed out to the rich, young ruler). We do believe that we are justified by grace alone, that without grace, even your faith cannot save you. God bless brother.
