Autism At Home is a non-profit initiative by The Hope Project, the non-profit arm of Early Autism Project (EAP) Malaysia. Autism At Home is an online resource platform aimed at providing simplified tips and strategies to help families of children with autism teach and support their children at home. This platform will provide you with online training videos on effective ABA teaching strategies for autism, featuring role plays, pop quizzes, and home assignments.
* This online resource platform is not intended to be a certified Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) course nor is anyone who has completed the training videos here equipped to become an ABA therapist or any other therapist. Viewers of the material on this resource platform are not equipped to train others nor supervise any ABA programmes. Furthermore, the strategies outlined on the website will not be sufficient for a complete ABA programme and we at Early Autism Project Malaysia strongly encourage families to seek qualified ABA treatment from supervised professionals.

So grateful with your videos. They're a big help especially to moms who can't afford the therapies needed for their child. He was diagnosed to have a GDD but his symptoms are of both ASD and ADHD. Very hyper and can't get him to sit even just for a minute. Btw, my son is 4 years old. Looking forward to more of your videos. ❤

Guys you are great! Please can you tell me How I can teach my 2.10 month old to react his name. I couldn't find any of these lessons about that.

Hello and thank you for reaching out. We would recommend building his engagement and to pair calling his name through plays and motivating activities. For example, call his name then provide him some tickles if he enjoys them rather than asking him to do a task. For more ideas on play ideas or activities, do check out our play series here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/opvMhZuZg7F8Z6s We hope that this is helpful. Feel free to reach out to us at enquiries@autismmalaysia.com should you want to discuss more specific strategies for your child and our team would love to set up an initial appointment with you. Thank you!

How to reduce verbal stimming of 10 years old child
@autismmalaysia
@autismmalaysia 2 жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you for reaching out. For self-stumlatory behaviors, we would encourage to redirect the behavior to a more appropriate one. You can try redirecting your child to an attention that would require his or her attention such as puzzles or fine motor activities. The shift in attention helps to occupy the child which might see a reduction in verbal stimming. If your child is able to understand some social skills teaching, we would encourage you to tell him or her when they can and cannot verbal stim as it would be challenging to expect the child to stop verbal stimming altogether (Eg: cannot do it in class, but can do it in private when they are alone). This can be taught through social stories, video models and visuals. For more information on how to manage these behaviors, do check out our Managing Challenging Behaviors series on our channel here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sH6ziYpteJx4pK8 We hope that this is helpful. Have a great day!
