I completely agree and this is why I don't agree with people saying "This is how you do XYZ" and instead they should say "This is how /I/ do XYZ". No two spells will be the same for someone.

For those of you that want to create spells and youre not sure where to start, focus firstly on intent and meditation/manifestation. Find a goal and visualize that goal. Rosemary, Rose, Salt, Clear Quartz and White candles are multipurpose tools and you can use them for any intent. (Herb, flower, base (protection), crystal and candle) Start small and work your way up to big complicated or specific spells. Make a few rhymes or a song, or a sigil! Its what feels best for you~ incorperate your specific goal or intent and be SPECIFIC on what exactly you are trying to put into motion. Aka "money FLOWS into my life DAILY" Instead of just focussing on what you want, how you want it as well! Add some moon water for that flow~

The "vibes" of different things is kinda my specialty. It's really interesting to me, especially since I have synesthesia. Rosemary is green with touches of pink and just a hint of soft blue. Clove is red with blossoms of vibrant green. But, just like with everything, everyone feels them different. Other people, even other people with synesthesia, will see different colours, feel different vibrations. And I think that's amazing.

I have synesthesia too!!! Mine is taste. My family knows exactly what I mean when I look at something or someone, and say they taste bad. Cedar is pretty strong, a sharp taste. Rosemary is a warm herb butter spread on bread, best way to describe it. Other herbs just taste like a feeling? It's really hard to describe!

I know someone who can talk to plants. They give him visions about their abilities when he asks and no, rosemary can’t do anything you want. It’s primarily a cleansing herb. There’s no herb that has every spiritual ability. All herbs have their own abilities. Just because an herb use is common doesn’t mean that it’s accurate to the herbs actual abilities. If I’ve learned anything from my witch friend who has the ability to communicate with plants in this way it’s that many herbs are commonly misused.

Only Australians of a certain age will understand, but when you talk about this stuff and say you still feel woo woo, I both agree and also automatically think "it's Mabo, it's the Constitution, it's the vibe." - The Castle. We have different plants down here and I'm not looking to culturally appropriate aboriginal spirituality, so I go a lot on the vibe. How do I vibe with the ingredient, whether it's a Northern Hemisphere/European thing or a native Australian thing? That's your energy. Think about it, both logically and energetically (dare I say, emotionally), and there's your answer - it's how the OG witches figured it out after all

I have an open question on the topic of spell jars. I have a terrarium that I was thinking about turning into a living spell for my business. What are some thoughts on that? Spell jars contain and stagnate energy so it could be bad for business. But if there is slow growing moss inside being fed with water, would that make it slow and steady cause it is growing on the inside? I haven't committed to this idea, but I wanted to share this mad scientist idea of a living spell in case it sparked ideas for anyone else!

Watching this video got me thinking. I've been doing spellwork for almost 30 years. I do not remember every spell, obviously. If I came across an old spell jar while gardening or something, I would have no recollection of what it was for. If the energy in the spell jar hasn't dissipated and I don't remember what it was for, it might be a good idea to take it apart, and then just make sure all spellwork is current and up to date. Maybe I should be keeping better track of my spellwork. Does that make sense? Curious to hear what others think.

You have the most peacefully powerful energy I have ever seen. Your eyes hold a lot of strenght, but also serenity. I have a lot of difficulty concentrating while watching KZbin videos, but yours are very captivating because it feels like you are truly talking to me! I'm a baby witch and your channel has been very helpful. Thank you! I have a question related to this video: What are the properties of each execution of spells? For example, candles versus jars, or sigils? I'm very new at this and I didn't know it made a difference. I know you explained it a bit in the video, but I'm not sure I understand fully. For example, I'm trying to do a spell (for my sister) for positivity and anxiety relief. I thought I would give her a jar, but I'm not so sure anymore. Also, I wanted to do a spell jar to heal sexual trauma. Is it right to do it in a jar? Have a great day! :)

I collect spell books to gain inspiration and to see what others like to add and how the spell could work and with that info I write my own spells. ❤

I loved this video! I haven’t been able to watch/view participate in much this season. I recently moved and my Mom became sick so I’ve been completely off. I didn’t bake my Mabon cake this year (although I still may do it once my Mom is home). This video gave me an inner peace, so thank you, I really needed to hear this.

Thank you so much, Olivia, this is literally the most needed video in a long time, as I'm currently struggling with ingredients-finding & working them... I think it gave me the push in the right direction, where & how to start. Thank you! ^^

Please Olivia always give your videos the subtitles option because although I know how to speak in your language, it is always easier to read you in my own language, Spanish, this video for example does not have the subtitles option. Thank you in advance and thank you also for everything your work.

Thank you for this video, I've been specifically looking to make a protection jar for my baby and I've been questioning what to put in it. You clarified what I need to hunt for!

hi! I love your videos so much, they are pretty relaxing and helpful as well! I would love to watch a video of yours about intention. I'm kind of newbie and I always read "intention this intention that" and I dont quite understand the basics on how, or what is expected when doing it. thank you!

thats one reason i like a correspondance book like the one by llewellen cause then i can see the different correspondances for what im intending then go from there the other books like Raymond Buckland i use merely so as a guide

1. Very helpful video 2. I don’t believe in any gods but I love the fact that you say “May Your gods treat you as you treat others”
