@@WyldStallion-bs9oo That is likely not going to happen, one of the things about the regulations (LMDh) is that spec parts aside... they are truly prototypes with no street homologation. Manufacturers that build LMDh's can't simply take that and put it on the road, not while the regulation is still active. It's one of the major differences between the two regs in GTP/Hypercar (LMH and LMDh) because since an LMH is mostly single sourced, you can have a 499P... it ain't road legal but you *CAN* buy one, if you have a spare $2.5m kicking around. The Isotta's Tipo 6 LMH can be had in a road going variant. Note that they are both LMH's, and I doubt that they will be the only ones.

In regards to Lambo... if you watched the broadcast of the Watkins race, you wouldn't even know the car was on the grid. Hard for Lambo to justify participating if you don't even get any coverage for your sponsors.

I can see lambo running both cars in IMSA one full and one Endurance. they will still get their 2 cars for Lemans? HRC is gearing up for WEC....lets go! This "2 full season cars in WEC" is really going to shake SH** up. Lets see what Hyundai and Mclaren think about the upcoming silly season.
@offintheesses2 ай бұрын
Yeah the 2 car mandate is making it difficult for some! It's all about the budget for Lamborghini, they confirmed that they will run 2 cars in the WEC but it remains to be seen if they will get approval to run a full season entry in IMSA. Personally, I think it's a longshot that we see 2 Lambo's in the Michelin Endurance Cup races next year

If Derani moves to MSR, we will have the perfect "Heel" in the sport, between Derani's Tendency to "Derani" others off the track, MSR's 2023 rolex cheating scandal, and Shank's response to the Rolex criticism during their first win afterwards (Basically blaming the fans of the sport for being angry and disgusted with the team), it'll be the best root against hate sink in IMSA history since Level 5. I guess I'll have to take a break from rooting against the "I'll sue you pony" and their Tifosi Cult for a bit.

Hum, is Caddy going to be racing in WEC with a 2 cars mandate then? Oh wait, I heard Jota Sport will be running WEC Caddies next year. Hyundai might be joining in 2026 with LMDh car. There is talk of Ganassi may be the factory team for Hyundai. I still think Ganassi might be working on a Ford project, maybe a Ford GT Hypercar or WEC factory Mustangs.
@jacksonbarinowski39663 ай бұрын
The Ford GT already raced in GTLM, there's no real indication that they'd revive an out-of-production car for an LMDH program especially while they're still trying to figure out the Mustang GT3.
@Eagleracer38x3 ай бұрын
I said Lewis was going to Ferrari in 2025 over a year before the news broke. And, the issues with the Mustang are why I think Ganassi moving to Ford, more cars = more data to analyze. I think will be Ganassi running a Mustang GT3 somewhere next year as the most likely idea. But, Ganassi likes getting overall wins.

@@WyldStallion-bs9ooI gotta disagree man. WEC is getting more manufactures than IMSA. The Manufactures care more about a WEC championship than an IMSA one. Acura is on its way out. The field in LMGT3 is bigger than GTDPRO. I like IMSA more but it’s clearly 2nd tier to WEC
