Hi. I’ve been following your contents for a while now and just want to tell you how much I admire your courage!!! I am also in my mid 20s, from East Asia (Japan) and have a Danish partner. It was a huge step for us when we first met each other’s parents. For me, I was so stressed. From my Japanese experience, I had to be perfect in front of the in-laws. But I love how Danes treat their family and their beloved ones❤ I imagine there has been many difficulties to be with someone who has such a different background but I can assure you, it’s totally worth it! Last year, we made a big choice that I move to Denmark and had been struggling with learning Danish language. Even though Danes speak English very well, you still need Danish to fully understand their way of thinking and culture. I don’t know if you will ever learn Danish but I support you with all my hear no matter what😊 Just know that you’re not alone❤

I could watch this video on repeat. You know what? The first clip when Kevin and you meet each other at the airport, sparks nostalgia in me. I remember back when I was 20 I met this Spanish man when I had the opportunity to study abroad. We fell deeply in love for over 6 months. Then - the moment came. The moment I was dreading and that we knew it was coming: time to say goodbye. LORD! I swear I could feel physical heart ache when we hugged and kissed last time at the airport. The pain I could feel it in my chest, in my throat, my eyes (from the tears). I’ll never forget how painful it is to say goodbye to someone you love.❤️‍🔥

This video reminded me so much of when my gf, who's also from Korea met my family this last Christmas. We are still in a long distance relationship but I was in Korea last year for a month and got to meet her mom and she often says hi to me when I videocall my gf. I will soon move to Korea to be with her and sooner or later will have to be the one meeting her family. It can be an intimidating thing, especially when it's hard to communicate with them (although I'm learning Korean). I know she felt the same thing when she met my family, but everything went well and my parents loved her and so did she. I wish you and Kevin all the best.
