Is chlorella similar enough to spirulina that it's an either/or situation? Or would you recommend consuming both? Thanks!
@BodyManual4 жыл бұрын
Great question! Both chlorella and spirulina are highly nutritious forms of algae! Although they have similar health benefits, there are some differences nutritionally. Chlorella tends to be higher in omega 3 fatty acids, antioxidants and other vitamins and minerals (especially vitamin A, iron and zinc). Some strains of spirulina are higher in protein and lower in calories than chlorella, but not by an overwhelming amount. Chlorella increases white blood cells while spirulina enhances energy. Both Stimulate the immune system, promote healthy flora in the colon and support detoxification. So when it comes to nutrient density, chlorella wins - but they both provide incredible health benefits! I recommend consuming both of these amazing nutrients. I've included them in my Super Green Foods formula. Here is the link: shop.bodymanual.com/collections/micro-nutrition-support/products/super-green-foods-capsules-2-month-supply

Should I take sperulina instead of protein shake after work out ??
@BodyManual4 жыл бұрын
@@kushagrakumar9118 Spirulina is high in protein (60-70%) and is also a complete protein-- meaning it has all the essential amino acids that your body needs. I recommend this protein shake, because it contains a healthy source of protein, including spirulina. shop.bodymanual.com/collections/daily-nutrition-support/products/plant-protein-complete-powder If you don't like this shake that I recommend, find something with a similar profile. Stay away from protein shakes made of rice or whey or other grains.

Is spirulina is beneficial for allergy rhinitis?
@BodyManual4 жыл бұрын
Great question! Since spirulina can help with inflammatory reactions, it can decrease the severity of symptoms associated with seasonal allergies. Here is a link to one study that showed spirulina to benefit allergic rhinitis - pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18343939/
