Agreed. I remember when this was released in theaters. My wife and kids wanted to go see it. I wasn't so sure since I didn't think "Hollywood" knew how to do the Hulk right. Much to my surprise, they nailed. They even brought in more of Hulks characters like Blonski, Sterns, and even a pre Doc Sampson. I was blown away and instantly loved this movie. Sure am glad my family talked me into going. 😅

There are many callbacks and references to The Incredible Hulk TV Series; outside of the cameo of the original Hulk, Lou Ferrigno, playing the part of a security guard. Some of them were: - The university where Banner goes to seek out Betty Ross was named Culver University; in the pilot episode for the series, David Banner worked at the Culver Institute. - After his Hulk out, where Banner walks the streets of Argentina you hear “The Lonely Man” theme played. That theme was used in all five seasons of the show, as well as three made-for-TV movies, and even an episode of Family Guy. - During the battle between the Hulk and the Army, two college students are watching the fight. One of the students was named Jack McGee, a reporter for the college newspaper. In the series, Jack Colvin played Jack McGee who was a reporter who pursued Banner each week with the hopes of getting the “story of the century” by capturing the Hulk.

Whether or not this is lowkey true … in my opinion, this was more like a spin off reboot of 2003 because there few hints that point back to THE HULK …. like the actor that plays her father is similar to Elliot (the actor played the father in 2003) and at the end they show Bruce in South America even though the movie was more comic-ish and the plot was the virus transferred to him thru his father but in this film they switched up the beginning showing how became the hulk then shows that he fleeted to South America.

We need to get this raging Hulk back because this movie shows his rage and this is the first time Hulk said his famous line and voiced by the Incredible Hulk himself Lou Ferrigno when I heard Hulk say " Hulk Smash" I lost my mind and I wished that we get that back in the MCU because in the comics Hulk doesn't speak that well and Lou Ferrigno did incredible reprising his role as the true voice of the Hulk.
