it's not hard to understand why you tube Golfers are popular to watch, they invite into their lives. Bryan Brothers, Grant and yourself etc. You are able to watch good golf and feel entertained by the collab's. Good example is Bryson, on the PGA tour you watch him play but when he started his you tube channel you got to meet the person. Wow not only an amazing golfer but a great dude. l could go on but you get it.

sounds reminiscent of Doonbeg in Ireland. My cousin was the first person on site (before course was built) and he was membership director. The 2 major investors/owners at the time also came from Carolina (Kiawah Island)

Peter, next time you are in Columbia, SC, I will happily invite you out to play The Woodcreek Club and Camden Country Club, great Fazio and Ross courses, respectively. Both in the Columbia area. Woodcreek is a big Fazio course with a wonderful practice facility and Camden has the Ross bones we all love so much. Woodcreek has brand new greens and both courses are in pristine shape undergoing constant improvement in all areas of the course and club. I guarantee you will leave both wanting to come back and play more.

If you were to have a KZbinrs golf event. For me, it would have to be a handicap event, not a scratch. That would make it far more open and whoever your favourite youtuber is, they would have a chance. Also, it would be a differential point to the professional tours.

Great podcast. My only concern with the KZbin tournament format is if broadcasters get involved like they did with GoodGood, because that was awful. Much prefer to see full 18 hole matches between a few people rather than the tournament format

100% agree that way more people watch KZbin golf than pro golf. But more eyeballs doesn't necessarily equal revenue ☝ Tour events have huge purses, huge sponsors, sell a ton of live tickets, and these events are broadcast live. KZbin videos are available on demand 24/7 and for free so naturally it's easier to watch. And the video runtimes are very short. With all of that said, some kids dancing on tiktok can get more views than pro golf and KZbin golf combined, but it doesn't equal value.

I for one, heard George made the cut but didn't care much at all (at the time) because I didn't watch their content... AT ALL. I watched (and still watch) Shielsy, Finchy, Matthew Fryer, Andy Carter, Iona Stephen, Genevieve Ling, BDS, Grant Horvat, (very little Good Good, I don't like them either, other than Grant and Garrett), occasional Tig (Micah), a little BustaJack but never got into Bryan Bros. because George's speaks so quick and choppy and tends to interrupt a lot and Wesley seemed so arrogant but now I've given them a chance, only to realize I was wrong about them and have grown to like them. I wish them all the success now and will support them to the end.

PGA Tour is broken, Imagine if of the 1700 professional NFL Players only 200 got paid a decent wage. While LIV is. Not for everyone, the payout makes sense even if the purse is inflated. if you get your tour card you should get minimum wage after basic travel expenses. Lose your card sure you lose your pay.
