06:07 A really cool part was that I discovered the first mention of "The Great Circle" via a random Side Quest in the Vatican, before it got mentioned in the Main Story. The side quests were generally REALLY good in this game.

Great video! I had a feeling this game was going to be amazing since it was announced. As a lifelong Indy fan, it absolutely exceeded expectations. So glad everyone else is enjoying it as much as I am.

I have worked with my university campus security to pentest their building and the opening is basically a shot for shot remake of when security found me in the cadaver lab.

I haven't really been a "fan" of Indiana Jones since as far back as temple of doom. Genuinely hated crystal skull and heard the new one was even worse. So one day I was having a conversation with my friends, this game came up. "How about that indiana jones game eh?" "Eh, not that interested, indy hasn't been good since I was a kid." "So you know how you really, really like old Starbreeze games like Riddick Butcher Bay and The Darkness 1?" "Yeah, why?" "Well the new indy game has a very similar kind of atmosphere and gameplay cadence, with some Thief: The Dark Project thrown in." _"Excuse me?"_ [Insta-Wishlists] The marketing of this game really needs to lean into this. Interest went from 0 to 100 real fast.

Funny because MachineGames founders used to be Starbreeze Studios members and they also made The Riddick Butcher Bay game.

It's the best Indiana Jones movie we didn't get in a looong time. And 100% agree on Troy Baker!

Something that I think this game did right that helped it was the treasure everyone was after. A big issue with the last two movies were that the McGuffins everyone was chasing didn’t have anything to do with actual biblical history, which was the main trope of the franchise. The first three movies covered artifacts from Hebrew, Hindu, and Christian mythology. But an alien skull and a time traveling dial don’t have anything to do with actual religion or history. But this game manages to create something original while also tying it to the Bible. Initially, it makes no sense to have stones that can teleport you. But then we discover Noah’s Ark and find out what it’s all about. The stones were given to him by God so he could collect animals from around the world before the great flood happened. I can’t be the only one who felt genuinely satisfied and intrigued by the plot twist of what these stones were for.

@ Fighting against perhaps the best Indiana Jones villain to date, Emmerich Voss, with no weapons and just my bare hands while he is using my own whip against me and putting those martial art lessons to good use, aboard Noah’s Ark itself, while an extinction level event, the great flood itself is beginning to take place, was one hell of a climax and my God it was amazing.

In this day and age I simply do not understand how anyone can praise a first or third person game that does not allow you to drive vehicles. There was a time, about 1999 to 2010, where every single game had to include vehicles or it just wasn't considered good. I want that time back. These games simply suck, there is no other way around it.

Very weird take - you drive a boat in the game but that's beside the point. You have to be able to drive vehicles or the game just isn't good?? What a weird perspective to have lol
