@@OVERCHARGEDEGG Thanks for your videos. I haven't moved on to CS 2 because I would have to buy a new gamer laptop - I have the money but not the will. They should have lowered the complexity the visual models away from what CS2 using - I don't understand the complexity but it's been designed with cinematic levels of complexity for the sake visuals and not playability, so it's mofo for most PCs and laptops.

really enjoy watching Cities 1 content… just seems like so much more of a “complete” game, and the idea of having to go back to square one and manage without mods …. no thanks! love the way you capture the “vibes” of Australia in this build… only quite subtle differences from typical North American cities, but think you’ve got it spot on… great job! 😎👍🏼

The canessia build we've all been waiting for 🤙 that terraforming tool is a game changer! Really loved this build, and that opening intersection I was thinking it might be cool to do some cycle roads around the suburb over those canals, might not fit with the piers but would be cool to see some people cycling around to get to and from their homes to school and such. Awesome work as always OE

Enjoyed the build but not super keen on the school fusing. Would create some large internal spaces with no natural light for the kiddies. For a suburban area some “flatter” schools might work better.
It's really not that surprising that some of the best C:S content is happening after C:S2 releases.

Very cool build! As a spectator, I actually prefer to watch creators build in CS1 over CS2... quite a bit, actually. There's something both annoying and immersion-wrecking about the CS2 zoning overlay. Makes it hard to tell what's going on, honestly.

36:43 You seem to have build the metro station at the wrong side of the road. Trace the path your citizens have to walk from the school or ferry stop to the station. I love your content, but sometimes your infrastructure planning is way off when it comes to something else than streets.
@OVERCHARGEDEGG10 ай бұрын
Will have to disagree with you there. One day there is going to be infrastructure on the opposite side of the arterial road into the city centre, which will place this metro bang in the centre of this particular district. Its also on the side of the road that links into green belt walking back in downtown. Will it also be way off when people start walking from that side?
@3gunslingers10 ай бұрын
@@OVERCHARGEDEGG Okay, but then why no crosswalk at the very least? You even got foot paths connected to the street from the opposite side of the station. But they are useless as your citizens can't cross the street there.
@ben032910 ай бұрын
I’ve always been a big fan of merging those two high capacity schools together! One thing I’ve started doing is using MoveIt/FindIt is placing a building over the metro station entrances so it looks like the cims are walking into the building instead of the hole in the ground
