It would make more sense if they named the Company helmet the Centurion, and then make a solo helmet named Achilles. Achilles was a solo warrior, while Centurions commanded their troops in battle.

I can see it being intimidating squaring off against someone wearing the Achilles Armor. I mean, c'mon. In Reach it was always really daunting to face someone who had the Haunted Helmet, robot arm, and the Security shoulders. That was a lot of dedication to get all that stuff, and usually meant a scary good player.

I don't recall how many times I have watch this video when it first came out. But after months of grinding, I am fortunate enough to achieve this Helmet and Armour. I am extremely grateful. Of all Easter Eggs, this is literally on top of all that list, and it was worth it!

I have the full set of Achilles armor. When playing with one of my friends I don’t use the helmet out of respect because they were kicked the day before we got it for inactivity. He was more active than 10 of the inactive players who weren’t kicked, myself included.

I joined a spartan company last year when the were about half way to get the armour. It was really cool to see how the leaders organized the team to play warzone and put some missions every week like "this week 10 will focus on headshots, 10 will focus on killing marines", etc. And then going for the helmet we put even more effort. The best memory I have is when we were like 200 vehicles away and everyone of us went online to focus on getting those kills, every match we checked the counter and sent messages thru whatsapp and everyone was so enthusiastic and were joking a lot in the party. It was really awesome

I did a good chunk of the grinding for Osiris - Pingy's company - and yes, there was buying out or saving spots for people to be getting the helmet for free. Markus, our company leader, did really well in being fair and made sure the more harder grinders for the helmet got it. If I had anything to improve the way to get Achilles though, it would have been via the Assist commendations. You needed a lot of assists to get that section done and would of promoted teamshooting as one big team rather than KILL EVERYTHING

I love that Audible part. You know I really want to see Halo 6 with some prizes like the Achilles. For example, if people in Halo 5 reached the level 154 they might get an exclusive armor. If they complete all the commendation they get an exclusive part of the armor. And so on... because it’s cool that the others see you with a part of the armor they recognize exclusive and they say “wow this guy has it!”.

When my spartan company grinded for it we made sure not to farm people or do anything that would get us reported. We found ways of getting the commendations without being jerks and it paid off. Definitely worth the effort!

I have it, it was the only reason I joined a Spartan company. I found one that had a name I kinda liked, asked to join, and went on to get it after awhile. I never had the bad experiences some people have encountered, my clan only kicked people after they messaged them a few times about inactivity and they didn't do anything. There was no backstabbing or anything like that.

I have the Achilles Armor and helmet. It was a grind that took months to achieve. The night the armor was unlocked our spartan company disband because everyone hated each other by the end!! I honestly quit Halo5 for a year afterward and just recently got back into it and get to show off my armor! There were definitely people kicked right before we got it tho :/

I got the Achilles armor in Halo 5 with my company, and my god it was a huge pain the ass. I'd be lying if I said we didn't have fights about bringing new players or kicking out already existing players. I can't say what happened after we got the armor as my memories of the aftermath are a bit fuzzy, but I do know some of us were proud of getting it. Myself included.

Here's an idea, make it so that each player has their own individual Achilles tracker that will freeze if they're not in a company. Therefore if they get kicked, they will still retain their own score of how much of the challenges that they have achieved, and then they can just join another company and get the helmet in 5 minutes.
