If regular enlistments didn't deliver enough men, a draft would make up the difference. The draft was very unpopular, so most states and/or counties would offer a cash "bounty" to encourage enlistments. Some "Bounty Jumpers" made a rather profitable habit of enlisting, deserting, and then re-enlisting for a new bounty elsewhere..... until they got caught, when they were either returned to the Army in chains, or shot for desertion.

The gun fights and duels are a Hollywood only thing, you couldn't actually open carry in most states and and the Colt Single action army was not really as popular with outlaws as Hollywood made it seem (they were just surplus military weapons studios could get cheaply). The wild west is real but it's such a short period in time that is also full of myths and misconceptions

There's several ways to go about robbing a train, each with their own pros/cons. Typically to catch a train by horse, they'd need to be ahead of the train and running in the same direction as the train. Then as the train passed, they'd jump onto the express car, work their way to the conductor and have him stop the train. Smarter still, they'd have the conductor put out the coals so the robbers could add hours to their getaway. The other way was to board the train as a passenger and rob it, but they'd need some of the gang to meet them at the stopped train at a preplanned location with extra horses in tow for the getaway.

most of the videos are made in 2 months... we work with 2 or 3 people on 1 video. And mitsi studio is 4 guys, so we can create 2 videos at the same time. We optimised the proces.. We build a assets librairy and we use the same rig on every character. so we can reuse assets. Its still a lot of work to create a video... but we do animation for almost 10 years now so we had a lot of practice :p Beside these videos we still have to do a lot of client work to cover the salaries and bills :p so most of the work is in the evening hours ;)

My TLDR of the battle of Midway is that the US had broken the Japanese code and knew of the approaching invasion force. They stationed so many aircraft on Midway and nearby aircraft carriers that the Zeros defending the Japanese fleet ran out of ammunition. Out of hundreds of American attack aircraft, a handful managed to score bomb hits of the Japanese carriers. Japan didn't really have the industry or resources to replace all the ships they lost, and were largely on the defensive for the remainder of the war.
