still got my 2003 Infiniti G35 (bought brand new), almost zero issues, now at 290k miles. My 2012 G37 is at 140k miles, zero issues. BEST cars ever.

Then you're one of the lucky ones. I know two brothers that were Nissan fans, they had the G35 coupe 6sp and 350z 6spd. G35 needed a junkyard engine, the 350z was parked for ever a decade. Both cars burned so much oil. I almost bought a Z or G, test drove both but couldn't get a good deal on it. I know someone with an FX35, exhaust rusted off, wheel bearing needed replaced on a 5 year old car. Every Nissan VQ owner had their exhaust flange rusted off. They all had interior dash bubbles.

The automatic seat and steering adjustment at startup is super nice for short people.

what's better than a G35 is a G37, what is better than a G37 is a Q40...literally the identical car except for the VQ engine got a slightly power bump in 2009

My stock 2012 G37 sedan has hit 155mph.(closed road) I do not recommend trying it without some kind of rear "spoiler" though. Sketchy as hell after 140mph, even on an abandoned air base runway.

love this car, but description says vq35de. those engines are in the last generation g35 up until the 2007 coupe. then 2007 sedan is the new chassis like the one in this video (07 or 08) up until 2008. this car has vq35hr engine. same engine as the 07-09 350z
