You’re welcome! Scheduling across time zones was the most difficult part.

Hopefully, Dr Nardi's work can build a bridge between MBTI and Socionics, and both of it can be co-existing harmoniously without too much riffs and frictions like what I have witnessed for a long time.

I know he’s at least talked with Viktor Gulenko and received permission to use some of the terms that he does. The biggest problem is when someone brings the mindset from one model into another in a “Well, in X we do it THIS WAY!” frame.

23:20 "the picture of the developed self-INFP DOMINANT (INFP-A)". In my experience as an INFP i am constantly striving to mature into a fully developed INFP-A. I have given a lot of thought on what steps an INFP-T can take in order to successfully transition into an INFP-A or what i like to call "INFP NIRVANA". One crucial step, in my opinion, is that you must engage in situations that make you uncomfortable & the more you get outside your comfort zone the more you will become a fully formed INFP OR an INFP-A. So INFP's when they're young are INFP-T & you haven't had very many life experiences & as you get older life has a way of forcing you into uncomfortable situations but you go through with it anyway bc the risk is worth the reward. And the more you do this the more confident you become in your authentic self. Eventually you will hopefully get to the point where you don't seek out these situations but you don't avoid them either. And one day you're 40 and suddenly the shy, people pleasing, person that was always 2nd guessing themselves has matured into a confident, mature, well rounded, comfortable in their own skin adult who has or @ least is close to achieving that illusive state of "INFP NIRVANA".

This 41 year old infp agrees with this statement. Always striving to achieve that state of Nirvana, It's been more prevalent within the last 3 or 4 years.

I wish the world is that black-and-white but what if experiences tell you over and over that the risks aren't worth the eventual reward?

Impossible…… infinite your brain’s expansions is. Hahahaa I kind of want to compare it to my ENFP brain like it’s gonna have different cognitive functions. Interesting, I want to come!!!!!! One of these I’ll go to. Come to Chicago!!!!!!!!! Also, the project was making a game Matt. I wanted to make a fun interactive 3D brain. I speak Thai and Spanish, half Asians be the most fun people!!! I’m kidding, but culture and bicultural and all of that stuff… I wanted to study that originally with language development, but this is even more fun I think. Gotta get the Chicago type group to scan my brain.

At the beginning of the video were y'all discussing the results of a brain scan you did with Dr. Nardi a few years ago?
@GeekPsychology6 ай бұрын
No I never did one before. We did 2 while he was here just a few weeks ago.

@GeekPsychology it would be super interesting if Dr. Nardi did a case study on how INFP's (or any MBTI type) grow & develop from a preteen to a young adult & into middle age. And if you had a couple of different case studies you can see why one develops into infp- A and the other into an infp- T. Did you see my super long comment on here?

Myres-Briggs is literally just astrology for people who like the aesthetic of being a trained physiologist. Like for team INFP Comment for team ENFP Edit: my comments are being deleted. If you disagree with me, show me scientific sources that come from industry professionals who aren’t widely discredited.

Why you compare mbti to astrology.. Mbti is credible as it is really observable in human behavior
@TheLoughDuck556 ай бұрын
@@lilac624 myres briggs is not credible and has been debunked by basically anyone with legitimacy in the field. It’s only used by the types of people who think they’re too high and mighty for astrology but still want to feel special by categorizing themselves and HR managers who are using hiring techniques that are 20 years out of date.

@@shane1948 easy to say that when the channel is deleting comments that show sources for why it’s a debunked pseudoscience. But yeah I’ll believe you over the majority of the scientific community

Scientists have not solved the mind-body/consciousness problem and therefore there can be no proof for MBTI as it depends on the premise that we have a mind in the first place, which is something that has yet to be proven to exist. That being said, we have individual experiences that come with being the owner of a brain and many believe that meaningful conclusions can be drawn from patterns observed consistently in people over time. MBTI just takes that information and gives a framework for people to work with to use for personal development. Unless you really think that astrology is also based on consistent patterns observed in people, then the equivalence is false and contributes nothing to the discussion of human consciousness and how it relates to the body.
