Thank you.I get now, i am good how i am and nothing wrong with it. This video explains everything in me in details,the system of thinking like a metaphorical Tree.(Associative, intuitive,excentric thing and excitement that drives us to talking much more, after we can very tired and reserved) I am social introvert, that better on my own,but when i am around people i know i am too talky because of entusiasm and exitement that someone friendly and send me vibes they are interested and listening. Very difficult to understand around people that you tired of it,but when you alone,you feel exhausted because of it. Hope i am not alone in it,social awkward infp-t 4w5 with stong 7 and 6 too

Gonna be brutally honest, Both my parents are isfjs , and we dont get along at all. They think they are always right and always are stuck up about being efficient but barely does anything eventful in their life . Always trying to pick on everyone who has a different opinion or way of doing things, having “im always right” personality. As much as they put “others needs before their own” they always guilt trip you for it expecting others to reciprocate their fake kindness and if they fail they would passively label u as bad, very non sincere people tbh cant communicate their feelings well and expect u to miraculously read their mind. Disclaimer, this is coming from my experience with clearly unhealthy ISFJs . I’ve met other ISFJs who are not a pain in the ass .

Mbti is pseudoscience. This is misleading. The concepts described in mbti are extremely simplified and aren’t scientific. Human beings don’t have simple personalities. As we grow and experience life, we develop new personalities

"MBTI is pseudoscience. This is misleading." Who told you it was pseudoscience? You might be interested in the MILO database. It's filled with thousands of essays and white papers on MBTI. There's even the "Minnesota Study of Twins Reared Apart" that showed that twins who grew up apart are as alike, "across a number of personality traits and other measures, as those raised together, suggesting that genetic influence is pervasive." Quite cool! "The concepts described in MBTI are extremely simplified and aren't scientific." Check out the cognitive functions (what MBTI is based on) and Dr Dario Nardi's neuroscience research for clearer definitions. Basic MBTI descriptions does leave some things out, likely to make it more accessible and not add a bunch of jargon. "Humans don't have simple personalities." I agree! That's the beauty of cognitive functions and things like Dr John Beebe's work on Depth Typology. It's actually quite complex (which is overwhelming for most people as they start to learn about it). "As we grow and experience life, we develop new personalities." I disagree :) As we grow and experience life, we learn new things and expand who we are. We adapt. We gain new skills. We improve our strengths. We learn to manage our weaknesses. We hopefully become more robust and capable of taking on new challenges. Zoro started out as a determined swordsman with a goal to become the world's greatest swordsman. Through all the fights and experiences, Zoro didn't become a fundamentally different person or personality type (ISTP); instead, he expanded his existing qualities. He gained new skills, learned new techniques, adapts to new challenges, and continues to grow.

You wouldn't find any information about it on this video because the thumbnail was a clickbait. That's the only reason why I clicked on it and watched til the end. But no topic was discussed about INFP. What a waste of time!
@GeekPsychology

@ELAR15 ohhh. Good point. I put INFP mainly because I’m INFP. And I see myself as a “priest” or “healer”. No click bait intended. If I said “INFP is the Innovating character class and I’m going to teach you about it” in the title or something and didn’t talk about it, then I’d see that as clear click bait. lol Though I do have many videos on that… Maybe I can rework the thumbnail. Any ideas?

Once i learned about infp personality i googled famous infp or fictional infps and Willow from Buffy one of my favs is typed an infp but she is excellent at math...i went hang on a second lmao 😊

Really needed this one. Went down the rabbit hole for 2 days, the darkest one ive had. Only come back this morning. Rage and hatred particularly of myself is destructive and negative. Its been a brewing storm for a while. I have bpd also which may have exasperated the downspiral. But after much introspection and rest and writing down and reflecting i feel more like me again 😊 one must go down in order to get back up. The constant struggles for this infp anyway ...its destructive yet oddly refreshing like rising phoenix or something though i do have to try to be kinder to myself and less critical which i didnt even know had crept up on me again for some time.

Love the analogy! I've early in my life figured out where I was good at (organizing, getting things done) and where I didn't have any talent (being a warm and welcoming person). Through learning about cognitive functions (I'm an NT type), so many things I only observed so far suddenly made sense. Plus I get to learn about what drives other people, what they pursue in life. It's quite a ride - I knew I was different from most people in my life, but now I see why that is. And why my intentions are very often misunderstood. "Character class" is a very good synonym for categorizing people without putting them into rigid, stereotypical boxes that don't do the individual justice... Nice one 😊
@GeekPsychology
@GeekPsychology 3 сағат бұрын
That's awesome that you've made sense of things! "Character class" does give a lot of flexibility and still shows you how people approach life. And it has the underlying thread that "we need all character classes to succeed."

Humans are evolved/designed to live together in groups as a tight knit collective. In which case the fact that the INFP struggle to get the organizational stuff sorted, it shouldn't really need to be a problem at all. As the power of the human collective would also include the personality types what are great at taking care of the organizational stuff Our world is seriously fucked up

I love your channel (have been watching for years) and have always tested as only an INFP. While most of this fits (must have freedom and no schedule), I don’t live in fantasy worlds and could never create stories in the way you suggest - nor would I want to write fiction (or even journal). My creative interests are home decorating and fashion. I must have beauty surrounding me and love art, but am not artistic. However, I am completely obsessed with the meaning of life, truth of reality, aliens, cryptids and such (Bigfoot is real!). Is that Ne? Does this mean I can’t be an INFP? Maybe ISFP? INTP? I’ve been trying to figure this out forever!

It feels in my personal experience that I imagine myself using yin Te in more normal day-to-day "not having to think about it" kind of way, but when im stressed or forced into a Te position, it can come out as an unhealthy manager yang.
