Can you please bring into discussion that the next generation of super scooters should hide its cables with removable covering like the emove roadster, inabling the customer to access the cable when when needed. Off roaders can have an open look, but street and bike trailer riders may prefer options. I personally like my cables covered but with easy access. Thank bro for your content, I've learned a lot, keep it coming.

This size of battery is awesome for range. I have a 72v 40Ah battery in my Nami and do 40 miles trips with battery to spare. It is cool that the speed in that mode doesn't drop (on your scooter) as the voltage drops, and 20 mph is about perfect for sidewalks and bike trails.

If pushing past 3x too much it can burn easy. It's impressive, but maybe not too reliable? Like I burned the rear motor a few times ,mostly in the phase wires. Anyhow It seems they are using the new samsung 50s batteries. It's bad to drain them a lot . 😕 they put out insane 45 amps ,but have a shorter life when pushing the limits . I have a LG m50lt, and a samsung 50s packs . The LG puts out only 12kw to the front motor. But will have over 1000 cycles life , vs only maybe 300 for the Samsung when pushing limits. Great video man. Thanks for posting the only eco range test of the RS currently on YT. I know you are probably sick of doing range tests, but I wonder if you put it into single motor mode as well as ride in eco if that would give more range out of the scooter. @THEAVERAGEGUY19837 ай бұрын
@hoplite1766 very true. They need to improve it big time. I do hope the video i made on the steering damper mod helps Inmotion redesign it to make it better. I feel like most sponsored reviewers just talk about how fast it can go, etc, but never mention any issues except consumers like me that actually use it, i do understand that This is their first shot at a High Performance Scooter. The creator of the RS is a Unicycle maker. Hopefully, the feedback they get from everyone will help them improve the design, reliability and functionality. Like for me, when it comes to cable management, i feel Segway and Apollo win there. Unfortunately, no scooter is perfect, but there could be one if manufacturers would listen to consumer feedback. I appreciate you commenting and hopefully Inmotion sees what you wrote here and accept the feedback.

35psi with those with stock nylon CSTs will lower your range. I suggest 50psi, will in incur less contact patch and less resistance, you should easily get more miles in. Swapping out to PMTs, depending on the Shore A soft meter, softer rubber compounds will get you less range at about 20-25psi max but give you twice the grip especially for hard cornering and acceleration. Good job!
@THEAVERAGEGUY19838 ай бұрын
Thank you for the extra info on the PMT tires. I greatly appreciate it. As for the 50 psi that is where i originally had them at but the scooter was Dhaking/Vibrating way too much as if i had off road tires so i dropped it down to 35PSI and have been pretty happy with this number for comfort riding but i agree 100% about getting way more range with 50PSI. Depending on where im going, i will definitely be inflating them to 50 PSI for sure while riding on speed 2.

Great ride and awesome mileage 😊. Super impressive range. You went through a lot of camera batteries haha. I use my GoPro Hero 10 on range tests and it’s got hot garbage battery life. Not sure if you can do it with your camera or not, but I just plug a power bank into it with a long USB-C cord. Works wonders and I never have to swap batteries. Hopefully you figure out that vibration. Does it come from the front or rear?
@THEAVERAGEGUY19838 ай бұрын
Hi Tom, yeah i went through three of them lol! I only have a total of 4 which is 2 for each camera lol. Only good thing vs my hero 10 is that i got zero overheating in 4K 60fps what a great camera other than the 55 minutes i get per battery lol. I havent tried plugging in a external battery to it but i should give it a try and let the camer run indoors and check it to see if it works. That would be great! About the Vibration i think its the front wheel. I dont really feel it in the back wheel. Weird huh? Maybe a balancing issue 🤔 but yeah i cant believe i got 60 miles of range and it was still doing the 19Mph speeds so it didnt even slow down. MY SEGWAY GT1 only gave me 22 miles of range in ECO Mode and i was really bummed out but the speed on that one was 22 to 23 Mph in eco mode out of the claimed 22. Just a bit more range than the MAX G2 for me.

Been looking at that inmotion rs but all these youtubers are straight up advertising when this guy is actually straight up. Makes me wonder if I should be looking at a Kaabo GTR instead. Either way, good videos bro. So I gotta ask, how you like the twist throttle on the RS? Thought I saw the thumb throttle on it, so maybe no?
@THEAVERAGEGUY19838 ай бұрын
Hey Ammothief41, thanks for the feedbqck man its always appreciated, and i always stay true to myself when it comes to these products, man. The Kaabo WolfKing GTR is an awesome scooter and does here that it's way more stable at high speeds, but it apparently does poorly with range. As for the Twist throttle, i took it off and replaced it with the official thumb throttle for 2 reasons, 1. There was a very noticeable dead zone on the twist throttle, which i didn't like, it felt like there was a delay in acceleration and 2. I didn't feel too safe, only having 3 fingers on the handlebar grip at such high speeds. When it comes to stability, i had to get a new steering damper and figured out how to mod it so it feels way more stable than what it currently feels like. However, before you buy the GTR, take a look at a few more videos on it before you make your purchase. The same goes with this RS, i overall love it and dont regret my purchase, but there are some little issues with it that i mentioned in the video. Also, some have reported the front motor overheating and causing the front controller to burn out. Thankfully, the RS has 2 of them, one for the front motor and one for the rear, and if the front or rear controller burns out you can switch the rear motor or front motor with a press of the cruise control button and keep riding. On the GTR, it has a single controller, so if it goes bad, it will leave you straned.

I just wish it had a better battery gauge where it would tell you the percentage of the battery instead of the little block indicators it has for battery life.

im pretty sure your scooter slid out from under you because youre in dual motor. when you lean the front motor will easily slide out on you. plus rear motor is more efficient as well so if you wanted to do a video to showcase the maximum range you shouldve done it in single motor. moreover i dont know why you didnt adjust the suspension once to see if that effected your shaking youre experiencing
@THEAVERAGEGUY19837 ай бұрын
Hi jason, you do have a point there on switching from dual motor mode to single motor mode but in single motor mode i would definitely burn it out as i would be making it work twice as hard moving me and the scooter body around inclines. It's also way slower at take off and takes a bit to get up to speed. Though definitely way more comfortable to ride in single motor mode. As for the suspension adjustment, i did try that, but unfortunately, it didn't make a difference on the shaking of the front motor. I did do a Off Load speed test with it lifted on my floor jack and turns out it is a balancing issue with my tires but they have really good tread so i wouldn't want to swap them till i waste them it would be waste of cash to swap them now for the other tires i have and i hope those dont have a balancing issue one those are installed. 😅 Edit: about slipping on the scooter. It was part my fault there, i leaned the scooter body too much to the right and didnt lean my body to the left as i made my sharp turn so i slipped off of it, the other part about the tires not being grippy enough for sharp turns still stand. PMT tires would definitely be beneficial for this scooter but i dont race this thing so at the moment they arent needed. anyways thanks so much for commenting. i appreciate you watching the video. 🙏🙇♂️

Thats an over estimate. All scooter companies do that. The realistic range is 75 Miles but its in Eco mode going about 15 miles an hour with a 150Lbs rider in a flat surface road with no wind blowing towards you. Now if this scooter had a 60 Amp hour battery then you can definitely reach 90 to 100 miles of range but again, in a lower speed. 😅 this is why i did a range test to see what the scooter can realistically for me. In gear 2 going from 25MPH to 40MPH with traffic speed. I was able to get 36 Miles of range which is the speed i usually have my RS in when i ride it to run errands or go to work. 😁👍

@@juanchopapa3286 indeed. You would be able to tell by the mileage on the display of most scooters.

The rs is way too big to be on sidewalks with ppl walking. You should always be on the road.

@CartoonWeasel i agree 100%. I use mine in traffic and in gear 2 which the RS does excellent on the road. I wouldn't have it on the sidewalk unless something is either wrong with it and i need to inspect it. In gear 1 is best to use it on a bike lane or as far to the right side of the right lane as possible, you just gotta watch out for drivers opening their car doors when a designated bike lane is not available.
