Audi has a rich tradition from which to draw upon. JF Musial takes a look back at some of the landmark vehicles that have helped to craft the automaker as we know it today.

After watching the episodes of you all reading comments from trolls, just like to say that all your videos are amazing, car shows now days seem to be about auto parking systems/safety and technology to help people who don't know how to drive, but for those of us who still do, your whole Drive team fulfils these needs by providing passionate reviews of cars, well done!

So, about 18 minutes in when they're taking about the first "new" Audi made in 1965 and both of the guys in frame points towards the car, WHY doesn't the camera guy shows it to the audience?? It is very clear that the car they are speaking about is NOT the silver grey 1974 Audi 100 that is in frame.
@mosmicke
@mosmicke 10 жыл бұрын
I mean, We know what the guys looks like and we can hear by their accent who is speaking, so we don't really have to focus on the persons speaking, do we?

you can't ignore the fact that they are not as fun to drive as thier respective rivals from BMW and mercedes , the haldex based quattro is effective but boring and pushy , the torsen if far better , the S and RS are performence monsters but they are not made for the track , if you drive them a notch under the limit they are awsome , a little bit more and they become pushy , guess who drive at the limit all the time on public roads ? no one.
@eurocon
@eurocon 10 жыл бұрын
Say you are right about BMW's they are a sharper driving experience with less cabin space overall but most Merc's are more luxo bardgy driving style just like Audi's sure they all make fast low slung cars but most are just including 5 and 7 series aimed at an older demographic with plenty of cash who still want a cool car.
@ssllhh100
@ssllhh100 10 жыл бұрын
well i didn't drive all the line up for all the auto makers but from what i drove in audi is a B7 A4 quattro DTM special , A1 122hp and the latest S3 , on bimmers E91 320i E60 330d from the mercs 2007 C200K 2011 E250 CDI and the A45 AMG , from all the cars above i prefer the BMW as a week end car the merc as a daily and the S3 to leave people in the dust on the free way lol , i have a launch control vid of the S3 and A45 , the S3 is just a notch slower even with the power difference , as i said audis are great performers but when it comes to fun they just can't do it for me
@eurocon
@eurocon 10 жыл бұрын
lol that's loads, audis will never get over putting their engines to far forward so there is a much smaller transmission tunnel in the cabin.. so yeh that's is a fundamental problem I guess if you are driving flat out all the time. I on the other hand just got rid of an A6 1.8t avant and an e36 323i my motive is family cars that still cool to drive and be stuck in all day lol.
@ssllhh100
@ssllhh100 10 жыл бұрын
at the end of the day its all depends on compromise , if you choose comfort over fun audi is the way to go most likely with a diesel engine , if you want a little bit of fun you need a bimmer or a jag is all you will ever need when the road open up after being stuck in the traffic you will regret having a diesel or an audi lol
