Sweet and innocent little A.J. Freund knew nothing but pain in his short life on earth. From the moment he was born to the moment he died, this poor little boy suffered at the hands of his evil parents.
What makes this case even more heartbreaking is that there were numerous chances to save him, but no one did anything until it was too late.

In most Western countries once drug addicts visit the hospital to give birth the services are notified and they remove the children ASAP! Or when a neighbor f.e makes a complaint for child neglect and the CPS meets addicts as parents, the kid is removed no matter what! The parents are screwd, mentally ill, name a brain damage and they got it, but the official authorities of a western country??

The judge and ALL who looked away and did nothing for this little boy, should be removed from their jobs!!! And anyone who knows about the abuse of children have to do more than just informing it to one or two agencies. Make videos and bring them to TV ; call your local radio station and tell them what you’ve seen and heard; tell the Minister at your church; notify school officials, but don’t give up . Oh, and never, ever, believe those tears. In Spanish we call them : Lágrimas de Cocodrilo . Crocodiles shed tears, but no for emotions.

It’s really easy to say, “see something say something “ but it’s actually incredibly hard to do so. I am guilty of looking the other way when I hear something in Walmart or something like yelling etc… I actually have not seen any physical abuse in person to kids. But I don’t think I would ever try to hinder only for the reason that it might get the kid more attention to them if I approached after, since they’d probably blame the child for making a scene? But like this situation, I’m sure plenty of people had a huge amount of knowledge about what situation was going on, just not nearly the extent because we also I think can’t really understand how someone can use some other badly so we don’t pursue it to only hear that kid died etc… sorry, just crazy, I grew up with a cookie cutter type household. Maybe some neglect from parents busy af, but now I know I have the odd childhood? I actually fucked up everything… drug wise not anger.

To remove a child from a loving foster home to be reunited with unfit parents should be a crime. Child services are clearly placing the well being and wishes of (abusive) parents way above the needs of the children. Even if it doesn't end in death, the children must be traumatized from the constant back and forth.

CPS should have their charter pulled by a federal version of CPS that this country could easily have if we didn't want to start a war with the Russians. The local CPS case workers should be charged with human trafficking in cases like this. Re-unification is a way for lazy bureaucrats to cover their asses.

If the kids parents result in positive drug tests then their children should be taken and placed into foster care..
