Donte, im super sad you didn't mention that Devil may cry and bayonetta are apart of a shared universe, Enzo had a brief cameo in one of the bayonetta art books playing poker(and winning) against a familiar white haired man with sword and red coat. Not to mention Antonio Redgrave was dante's name for awhile when he was in hiding, he found out about antonio's work of the occult and respected him a lot, hence why he took his name instead of going by dante when he worked as a mercenary even in the bracelet of time description in bayonetta, it tells about an umbra witch name "Eva" who made a contract with a "legendary dark Knight" Sound familiar?

Dante's alias was Tony Redgrave, and I read somewhere that he chose that name from a man he respected in his childhood. I don't remember where I read this, and I have no idea if it's canon. I just thought it was interesting that the journalist's name was Antonio Redgrave, which I somehow didn't connect the first few times I played Bayonetta. Also, Enzo is in the first noncanon Devil May Cry novel. Was it ever confirmed that Devil May Cry and Bayonetta exist in the same universe? I think it's pretty plausible that they do.

Nice video and explanation, but seriously? No DMC references?! The DMC and Bayonetta games are pretty much connected to each other. For example, Eva, the human mother of Dante and Vergil and wife of Sparda, was, apparently, an umbra witch in pact with Sparda himself, bearing his power. Another fact is that Sparda and Madama Butterfly, Bayo's summon and pactkeeper, are speculated to be relatives. In a few words, there wouldn't be a Bayonetta if it wasn't for Devil May Cry.

Can you make a video on How Bayonetta and DMC in the same universe. In Bayonetta there is a story of a witch( still human ) who made a deal with a demon to battle the demon army. In DMC there exists an item that’s also in Bayonetta. And Enzo I believe was also Dante’s Manager before he left for some reason, and was replaced by another one
