Game Sonic is actually pretty close to Archie Sonic, it’s canon that he gets stronger passively as he ages, which is why he easily beat Perfect Chaos in Generations in base form where in Sonic Adventure he needed Super Sonic to beat it. In short, Game Sonic stomps most verses once he’s out of base form. Instead of making a huge paragraph to explain though, I highly recommend B-WHERE’s video called “Sonic The Hedgehog vs DBZ”, where he shows how powerful game Sonic really is and with far more accurate scaling and less crazy bs from Archie.

@@jaid2568 pretty sure that "Hyper Knuckles" was just the name of his super form It wasn't an actual Hyper form. In the issue that happened they only used chaos emeralds not super emeralds. Besides super forms were weird in the archie comics. Tails' super form was called turbo tails for some reason, and there was the whole "Ultra" Sonic form instead of hyper sonic. Besides Sega in general is weird about non male Hedgehogs getting super forms. Apparently it was a rule that only male Hedgehog could canonically have Super Forms. In the original release of Sonic 3& Knuckles Tails could only go "Super" with the Super emeralds, which they ended up retconning and changing in Sonic Origins and gave him a regular Super and Hyper form. But for whatever reason In Sonic Superstars Sonic is the only one who goes Super. Everyone else just gets "Super Powered". Even in Sonic Origins after they made Classic Amy playable they did to her what they did to Tails in the OG release. They called her Super form "Superpowered Amy" and he Hyper form "Super Amy".
