I don't care what celebrity is shilling their stuff, it's not luxury if it has their name across your @ss. I felt that way in the 00s and I still feel that way about any brand.

Juicy reminds me of Deisel, True Religion, Miss Sixty, Betsey Johnson, Ben Sherman, and others who were so big and beautiful then. They burned too bright and burnt out.

Hand down the best handbag I've ever bought was from Juicy Couture. It was tan leather, crossbody rectangle bag with gold hardware. Very subtle, none of the garish logo's on it, it was gorgeous. Nobody ever knew it was a Juicy bag unless I told them and everyone was surprised when I did tell them. It got a lot of positives comments from anybody who saw it!

It also helped that her husband is a wealthy musician John Taylor of Duran Duran. The man I had a serious crush on as a teen in the early to mid 80's 🤣.

😂 immediately my brain: in touch with the ground/im on the hunt im after you/a scent and a sound… Gotta go listen to hours of Duran Duran now !

Tacky to the core is what it was, especially when you saw Mother/Daughter wearing matching outfits.

No it didn't. It's just a set. They were remade by so many companies. It's only clothes. Relax.

I love a success story. However, for me, brands like Juicy will always be tacky. Regardless of who 'rocks' it. Love your channel 💯👌

I am 54 and just bought my first velour tracksuit. From what I remember of the 80s, this is the correct way to wear a velour tracksuit. Be old & be a mom who walks a mile a day like it’s training… 😂

Juicy Couture and its erm "fashion" belongs just like the tramp stamp (same era) in the deep vaults of history...were it should stay. It was cheap and tacky looking even if it was in fact expensive

Oddly I was just thinking about this brand last weekend. I found an old pair of the sweat pants cleaning out the closet.

The new collections just aren’t the same as the vintage tracksuits. I have both, and the velour had more of a cotton blend while the newer tracksuits are majority polyester fabric.

The disappearance of cotton has definitely changed the way I shop & thrift. Suddenly I’m buying brands I never considered just because they actually still use some natural fibers! I love good performance synthetics (I’m an outdoorsy Montanan, there are times when “cotton kills”) but I want my indoor clothes to mostly be natural fibers

Those velour suits were overpriced and ugly. Idk why they were $250

I wanted the velour suits back in the day but never got one. I had a Juicy purse. I can’t believe it became somewhat popular again. I got a sweatsuit for nostalgia lol

was never a fan of the tracksuits, but i’ve been thrifting a lot of JC pieces on depop lately bc a lot of their accessories and dresses are super cute and just my style (also just for nostalgia purposes). 💖 i’ve been curious to see if the resurgence of 2k fashion would mean JC makes a comeback with the younger crowd.

A little over dramatic. It was well known Gela was married to John Taylor. That’s not much of a struggle. This was totally disappointing to watch.

The perfume was good. And cute ! I thought it was cute. I would never wear words on my butt, nor would I allow my daughters to. And, the pants are not flattering to the butt at all ! They made every butt look droopy. Glad they changed that. I hope they can continue to do well. It is definitely a nostalgic and sentimental purchase for women. That's a good thing for a company to hqve going for it. And it is still a young company. I wish them the best ! ❤ 🙏🏻
