Nack was his localized name like how Eggman use to go by "Robotnik" in the western regions. I think it was only Triple Trouble and the comics that used Nack though, Sonic Drift 2 and Sonic the Fighters left his name as Fang. They'll stick with Fang as that's what the Superstars website and recent comics use. Plus he's apparently not a weasel. He's a wolf-jerboa hybrid.
