I hope to God that dispatcher and those officers were fired.
@dandereninja47504 сағат бұрын
The officers weren’t given all the salient information needed to save him. Knowing the make and model of the car along with the location would have likely saved him Kyle plush. All they had was gold van in a high school parking lot. It’s possible the police didn’t see the van. If the 911 operator had passed along the additional information they received from Kyle then it’s likely he would have survived.
@Elalmadebudin4 сағат бұрын
@dandereninja4750 still, conducting a search of a teenager possibly stuck in his van with your music playing at full volume and without even leaving your car is proof of a very half-assed attempt.

I remember getting into a verbal spat with a 911 operator at an anime convention. I found a guy ODing on the 7th floor of the parking garage. I didn't know the exact address, but I told her everything else. "I'm on the 7th floor of the Hilton Hotel Parking Garage across the street from the George R. Brown Convention Center." For ten minutes, she kept telling me she wouldn't send help unless I gave her an actual address. Finally, someone heard me screaming at her and got the center's security to bring a kit to help. When the lady heard them, she was going to hang up, but the guy took my phone and gave her the address and demanded an ambulance. To this day, I'm still furious about it. If not for that security, that guy could have died.

But what element of the story seems dubious to you? The tunnels or that people got lost there? To me, it's quite peculiar that the police didn't want to retrieve the body, though I still find the story credible overall.

@@olgar.6604 Eugene/Evgeny's behavior when the journalist contacted him, the local digger's statement etc. The fact of bodies being sometimes found in the catacombs is real, but this particular story's dubious. The Facebook live case is disgusting. That sick woman's eagerness to push her own daughter to suicide only to turn around and play the role of a mourning loving mother is insane. Her daughter loved her unconditionally and yet she despised her, wanted her dead, and continues to make fun of her after her death. She should be locked up. I understand how it might seem unfair to punish her specifically when there were other people in the chat, but I think it's pretty clear that she was the driving force behind her daughter's death. I don't think her daughter really wanted to die either, I think she was taken advantage of during what was actually a cry for help.
