Im so heartbroken for Chad Amato. He truly loved his son. If my son took my retirement money and wasted it on some girl he didnt even know I would probably stop talking to him forever. Yet Chad let him stay AND took him on a trip to Japan FOR FREE. Then protects his son when he does it AGAIN. And his big reward is his family getting brutally murdered in their home by the very person he just basically saved. Rest in peace man. You did all you could.

The last one with Grant is so sad, heartbreaking, and such a huge act of betrayal to his family. His father did everything he could to help his son only for him to repay his lack of severe consequences with a gun. Maybe they had a rough relationship, each family has it's own hardships, but the fact that his father didn't report him, tried to get him the help he needed, and allowed him to stay in the house well beyond what was owed to him just to be killed by the very person he was trying to help irks me so damn much. Just remember that the version of this family dynamic you are hearing is based solely in the prosecution of his trial, so a story told by someone trying to convince people he’s a bad person. I’ve met plenty of parents that have been described the way his were, they are not as altruistic as you’d assume. There’s also quite a lot that we do in life that isn’t a direct result to our upbringing, but his actions, from the entitlement to steal hundreds of thousands to attending a fake “rehab” for rich kids to escape court punishments, to having an indepth behavioral contract, those aren’t normal things that happen to people not raised by parents like his. Like this is NOT saying they deserved anything, it’s not about that, but even when being told in this hyper-favorable light they sounded like really shitty people
@HarringtonsApocy
@HarringtonsApocy Жыл бұрын
Like you said “didn’t report, got him help, allowed him to stay” i know rich people who do this, it’s not out of love, those are all forms of covering it up because either he’s implicated in financial situations that would be unearthed by an investigation or his reputation in the community would be tarnished, he doesn’t want to to get out to his golf buddies or his boss, or employees. It’s almost always some twisted selfishness behind these acts of seeming care

@rasmuskock8077 ikr! I'm HR for a certain home improvement retailer that was recently involved in a lawsuit because someone had to be fired for writing political stuff about Black Lives Matter all over their uniform. We have a clear SOP that I explain to all new hires that says you can put whatever you want on your apron AS LONG AS it's not political, religious, or sexual/covered in swears. And I have to explain that it's NOT that we don't believe in Black Lives Matter, if we had an official stance it would be that, but at our core values we believe in free speech. And if we believe in free speech then I also have to allow the idiot at every company to put ALL lives matter on their apron. Because free speech isn't free if it's only free for some. THEN I explain that also, we're a private company and we can make whatever rules we want for what goes on in our own company so if we want that apron to be replaced with glittery nipple pasties and a thong, then we can, and you would literally have to wear it. It makes the new hires laugh envisioning that but it puts it in perspective for them and is an easy way for them to fully understand the why behind that particular policy.

Now matter how well intended it’s justification is. A citizen who remains aligned with the sentiments expressed by our countries founders make it clear freedom will take precedent over security forever in the American heart , the day this is no longer the case is a good time to recognize USA has lost its way. Factoring in the amount of legal processes started as a means of settling a vendetta by women , who are weaponizing the legal system,purposefully with the full Intent of having their male victim taken into custody and charged in within the legal system for serious crimes l, there you have yourself quite a recipe for disaster on your hands and many men guilty of nothing but crossing the wrong women behind bars increasing the population in our over saturated prison system.

I see it from a different angle. Girls deprive us of the heavenly bliss of their bodies and affection no matter how hard we try to act normal, then they blame it all on us when we end up chronically single. Letting us have pictures of them to enjoy in private and not making a big deal of people sharing creep shots would be the least they could do, but apparently even that’s too much to ask. Heck, even if the female community would just start donating dirty panties to those of us in need, anything. But you know those women, they’d get uncomfortable and offended by even the idea of anything like that. Such is female nature, always committed to being as unhelpful as they possibly can.

Luckily a few years later I made some good friends who helped out of it, but its effects still linger 15 years later. As for what happened in this story, michael was the leader of the abusers, even if he didnt post anything himself (which i doubt), but he enabled so many to cause so much psychological harm to the victims. reddit troll his logic was so twisted and disturbed like he was okay with showing pic's of young kids (which isnt okay while also revealing there full names and address) but once he was caught out and shown he tried to act like he needed a shield. Though in this case seems rat got ratted out and got his own karma for sure.

I don’t feel bad for Michael in any sense of the term. He can cry all he wants about having his life ruined for “riling people up over meaningless things”, but that’s completely meaningless when he was actively providing a safe space for predators and allowing underage girls to be victimized. No amount of talking around his actions can undo the damage caused to these girls.

it pisses me off that he dismisses his predatory actions as being 'meaningless' and just 'pissing people off' like, you're not relentlessly poking someone until they explode, you're encouraging people to take unsolicited pictures of minors and put them on the internet in a sexual context that's a fucking felony

I really think the primary symptom of being terminally online (outside of the crazies who go out and attack people) is that they are so insulated in their little bubbles that they have no idea how serious what they're doing is. They can't think outside of themselves and just don't believe what they're doing is actually serious... until it hits THEM. Then suddenly it's world shattering.

It's insane when someone tries to report a stalker & LE tells u that even though ur terrified the person is going to hurt u badly(or worse), if they haven't done anything to u yet, u pretty much have to wait until they actually do for LE to help. This happens all over the country, way too often!!

What do you suggest they do? Go and arrest the citizen based off the claims of a single Individuals claims? It’s not that they aren’t believed they’re just tied by the law they have to follow and you cannot go and arrest a citizen because another citizen says they’re following them. Thats not even necessarily breaking the law. You Guys act like the police are incompetent and don’t care but through what legal means do they have to take action? Yea it’s still a good thing we can’t be arrested simply off the claims of one person. That would Be a horrible policy weaponized by vindictive vile citizens every day. They do it right now already as everyones aware.

The story of Grant Amato is so sad. His father was so kind and loving and just wanted his son to get better and grow up. He tried all he could to care for his son and get him on the right path even when it wasn't the easy option. And what did he get in return? A bullet to the head. How sick and unempathetic do you have to be to have that much love and affection from someone who genuinely cares for you and still believe that they deserve to die? It really goes to show that sometimes, it doesn't matter how good of a parent you are, your child could still end up a terrible person and none of it will be your fault.

An extra gross fact that gets revealed in the full interrogation (you can find online) is the fact that after he killed his parents and brother Cody, he stole Cody’s credit card and drove to a strip mall to get wifi access. And what did he do? Bought more tokens for that cam girl. Disgusting.
