Intp woman here - I really recommend mark mansons book models. Your video is really good, I just don’t agree fully with the point of not going into the date with any intentions. You should go into the date with the intention of ‘do I like THEM?’ I think most intps are always worried whether other people like us and then we try to make them like us. I’ve noticed if I shift my focus from “do they like me” to “do I actually like them” I’m way more relaxed and confident. Manson explains that way better than I. Hope that helps someone. My first date strategy is no intentions at a restaurant I like. I see how it plays out and play off what she discloses and see if that interests me. No pressure and if the person is a compete non-connection I'm not disappointed and any date that ends with a happy tummy is a win to me. After 18 months of "interesting" Zoosk and Match dates I found a wonderful ISFP that is exactly what I an looking for as an empty nester.

I second the "go without an agenda" tip. This is THE thing that separates us from all the generic grey masses who can't control their urges. As far as I've noticed, all the girls that i've been on dates with, have generally had the same complaint, about how guys are so obvious with their intentions of just getting sex or something involving physical stuff, and how annoying it is to constantly see this almost every time.

I totally agree with the "no intentions" if you mean "no expectations." It takes away all the pressure to perform. As someone looking for a long term thing what is most important is to find a friend so staying chill and playing off her cues plays to INTP's strengths anyways. Being relaxed and set to take what comes prevents your Fe inferior from over-reacting in shyness or try hard. Trust your Ne parent.

As an INTP I would really suggest that other INTPs read Tao of badass. It is extremely helpful, very concise, and as an INTP you'll be able to absorb information and apply it very quickly. Plus this video is amazing.👍

You are always just name drop Te. Te is very important to have even for intps it's not saying okay you will solve it but giving a solution. 😆 Te doms are efficient because they outsource the answers

I wonder if it's worth considering type dynamics with some of these things, for instance as a percieving type, the intp can come up with ideas for a date, and then if ur partner is a judging type they might enjoy deciding which option to choose

Today was my first date like for five years. Before it I have watched this video. So, there's my conclusion: yeah, my level of being a "dating machine" was not that high as those non-INTP have haha.. But, I'm sure, it was one of the most successful date for me. I can't say that I had rejected my Ni-critic at all but the most of time it was silent and I just had chill. Thanks a lot

Hi Tyler&Snake Charmer... Happy new year 2021!! yeah I’ve been thinking around the same topic Snake mentioned like tips for INTPs to be more success at work.. INTPs are generally easily satisfied with ourselves and forget to realise our imaginary world into the real world aka procrastinating mode and also we don’t generally have a high ambition over material things (the child Si mode here where we can be super laid back). Also, another topic I’m super interested in is the demon Fi where INTP can understand the concepts/theory but can hardly understand themselves (Fi). And lastly, the one I’m working on, “How to be present” aka improving the Se function as an INTP. I think the Ne function is going full swing and often distracting us from one idea to another even when we haven’t finish refining any of the ideas. -.-
