Ekaaro Chief. Give thanks for sharing your time this insight. It's interesting that people associate leadership skills with speaking loudly and getting people to listen and pay attention, but when it's time for action the introvert is the one who makes things run smoothly because they spend so much time alone refining their process. They're like the oil in a car. The engine may be loud and powerful but that oil keeps it from generating too much friction and overheating.

I am the same way. Introverts i feel carry more strength within than most. I have always been known as the quiet one but its just me . Born in the month of February my Nana would always say to my mom "Handle her with care because she has important work to do!" I am finding myself or should I say the me within is exposing itself to me and i will admit that processing all of this without my elders guide is a challenge, but I am grateful for the knowledge and information you bring forth. I take notes and rewatch and truly listen and then I research to confirm and you have been a beacon of light to me and I thank you for taking time from your life to share your wisdom and knowledge through this platform. Woo man I used to feel bad for appearing very socially awkward - and I would legitimately force myself to be extra social to make others comfortable. I have periods where I’m more vocal and social. But more often, naaahhhh I’d rather chill and be quiet lol. More ebb than flow. “Awkward silence” is my favorite lmao. That sea is everything. Thank you for this validation, Chief!

Greetings, This segment caused me to plunge deep. I fit the description of an introvert, but I became shy and I thought that was who I really was. I realized that I never really understood what an introvert was. After listening to this segment, I think I see now. My consort Randy would say he's an extrovert, but to me he seems to balance the two well, if thats even possible! I will allow myself to sit in silence with the ones I love. It's something I see, I've been wanting for so long. I find myself yearning to be in silence. I'm surrounded by extroverts, so for me, I have to get those introverted activities in! Introvert, Extrovert...i don't even know who i am anymore. Now it sounds like I'm an extrovert, tryina front like an introvert. My perception of myself, differs from what I may projecting...based on what i am hearing. I've always seen myself as an INTROVERT, masking in effort not to appear soooo introverted. Now I'm thinking, i was definitely socialized into thinking I'm introverted. I hated teachers using the word "shy" to describe me. Nor the word "quiet". Once i learned that the (western) learning environments judges your worth and intelligence by the amount of times you "raise your hand," my goal was to raise it at least once, to make presence known. I just knew if i didn't, i would be singled out and called at an EXACT moment i had no answer or direction of the way. Wasn't tryina get caught up! That was the fear-- everyone looking 👀 at me, and i have nothing worthy to contribute. Actions being motivated from outside-- sounds very Extroverted to me, now. Still learning to master Self. Give thanks, Chief.
