Great lighting effect. I own the same model and since I'm no expert in wiring and lighting and such, I just placed a remote controlled round multi-colored and multi-lighting effect light disk that I had ordered from eBay and placed it snuggly under the ship. It fits perfectly at just under 3 inches in diameter and I get this cool sci-fi effect for my Beach Head episode diorama I created.

This is a really wonderful build, and the lighting on top looks spot on, the lower lighting should be more of a greenish color I think, and the support legs should extend out at an angle, these appear to drop straight down or even inward a little, I've noticed this issue on a few builds, otherwise very nice

In the series, the pulsing dome lights are blue not green. I have the kit but mine has red domes. Would love to light it like this but would change the green to blue.

I have never built a model but bought the UFO - do you have a video on how you did this painting and all? what glue and paints do you recommend? are the green and orange just the lights or did you paint those colors

I have the Tenna kit and my rotating lights are red instead off white. How did you get yours to look white with the kinda purplish? Did you use a filter of some sort?

What size do i need to order the domes from kitkraft? Boyd I have line to build, did one at age 10 in 1968 but ti got lost in a move years ago. I will ask Ralph for a board like tours and lights. I learn so much from you videos, thanks teach!

Sweet build, man! I like that you're going to add the woodland diorama. I always thought that putting one of those mini steam generators under this ship would look great. Picture the steam wafting up through the foliage, capturing the light, et cetera. 'Just a suggestion.

It's got a small control board I got from Tenacontrols in it that controls the pulsing on the bottom and the rotating lights on the top. Contact Ralph at Tenacontrols and tell him I sent ya. He'll fix you up with the same one.

Yes, I replaced mine too. Check out kitkraft. They have a bunch of clear plastic domes in lot's of sizes. I think I got them in 1/2 inch size but measure to be sure. I just tinted them green with Tamiya transparent green paint.

It's a control board with a set of LED's in a circle. I got the setup from Ralph at Tenacontrols. Contact him and tell him I sent ya and he'll fix you up with the same one.
