strv 31 is retarded, drive around in reverse killing kv2s, it can survive a direct hit while front punching him every 3.5 seconds or so, and moving at 19kph, also functions perfectly with just 2 crew. Love that silly little train looking tank.

try the Ho-I. It is a one shot monster. basically a chi-hu hull with short barrel 75mm, but it has almost 500g tnt in aphe (has also heat for more armored targets, and also a HE that pens 12mm, really effective against late pz 3 and 4 tanks when you shoot at the top of the turret)

One of my favourite lines is the early japanese SPAA line up, all the way to the duel 20mm. they are seriously easy to farm with if you expert the crew (which at tier 1 or low level idk its been a hit) is seriously easy and hilarious

The B1 Ter is the perfect case of premiums being overpowered compared to tech tree variants. While the B1 Bis can be frontally penned by just about everything it sees out to around 1000m and not be able to do the same back, the Ter requires you to get close into it's effective gun range to pen it in the same spots. With being effectively the exact same tank, and at least back when I played it was at the exact same BR as the Bis. At least it's been slightly moved up since.

The b1 is a little absurd with its survivability but have you tried the su-122? It's a t-34 at 2.3 getting pitted against tiny guns that can barely pen the sloped armor that the su-122 uses... The only downside is a 20 second reload rate but when the HE round can one shot anything it fights

I bought this back when it was 2.3. expecting it to club. Every game was a 3.0 or 3.3 uptier and in every game the armor was like paper. It's really only good in a rare downtier or against reserves. Now the 105 Sherman at 2.7 is a completely different story. That thing really is disgusting.

@@danko8983 I used to overpressure with the standard HE shells but I'm pretty sure that was fixed. All of the belts feel lackluster compared to the last time I played. The proxy shells don't seem to want to detonate and don't even get me started on the removal of solid AP. I used to love Yorking. Now it's one of my least favorite SPAA. Whenever there's a nerf you can almost bet that it will be for American vehicles.

France used to have to most OP line-up ever in the game. B1bis+B1ter+LVT4-40 but then the LVT4-40 with its Bofors went up in BR. But I tell you, that line-up was the most fun I ever had in this game. Guilty fun but fun nonetheless. B1ter and b1bis had your back in close quarters maps basically being unkillable. The LVT4-40 was hands down the best light tank at its tier and better at anti-air than actual anti-air vehicles with its 40Bofors and two M2 Brownings. I used to get 13-15 kills on a regular basis in realistic with that line-up. Sealclubbing.

I would like to see you try out the Breda 501 in the Italian ground forces. It's a tank destroyer that you have to play like a light tank. The gun is a really good 90 mm, the mobility is decent, and there's very little protection for the crew. I've had a lot of fun in mid tier with the Breda 501.

One of my favorite war thunder moments is when one of these things managed to push really deep into our side of the map, and me in a an m3 stuart went around behind it, shot out its tracks, and then just shot the back of its turret to kill the commander over and over when they would switch someone from another seat to that one. I absolutely love the B1 Ter. If you angle it right, it just ignores the heat round of the other “heavy” tank at its tier, the M4A3 105. It also ignores other heat rounds when angled along with all conventional rounds. From the front it’s decent, but most rounds can pen the slightly angled plate.

After this you should absolutely do a video on the Churchill I. Same playstyle, but with a much better gun handeling and a hull howitzer that can throw smoke at a distance! It has the best armour at the tier, a superb turret in all departments and a good top speed for the incredible weight of the vehicle, while still having 12 degrees of gun depression and a reload below 3 seconds with ace crew!

@@AlexVanChezlaw Then your practice is poor or you haven't actually played it. The reload and shell velocity mean you can very easilly go for tracks and barrels, and from there all the tanks you mentioned can be killed from the front. The Churchill I is superb when it comes to using your armour as a weapon. Vehicles like the KV-1 will struggle severely to pen you, which means you're much more flexible than they are with your faster cannon, from there you can manouver and kill thier turret from any angle and their hull from the front or sides. This was just an example, you can do this to T-34s and Shermans too, and other vehicles like the M10 or even ARL-44 (ACL-1).

The easiest way to kill the b1ter is to treat It like a tiger when you are a jumbo, just shoot the cupola, when I started my Russia tree I actually never had problems with the b1 because I was able to do that.

The M4 105 is the true monster of these tiers. A medium tank that's really a heavy with arty included It's effectively better protected than a Jumbo in regard to it's BR range, plus it has the .50 cal that by itself will take out a lot of what it faces. It see 1.7 vehicles... often.

You should see like the AP damage on bigger calibers. Like the Churchill VII barely does any post pen damage, I have shot bmps with the surbaissé and it did no damage cause a 120mm round apparently causes no spalling. Sometimes I shoot enemy crew with my british tanks and the crew just eats the AP slug and goes yellow.

That might be down to the fact gaijin does spall in reverse. The less residual pen, the most damage. If you shoot 120mm at a 10mm plate gaijin system makes almost 0 spall, if it was a 100mm plate you would see way more spall. Or rather, on top of low spall modifier of AP shells. Light armor=less spall in gaijin eyes.

@@shepardpolska Less residual pen also decreases spall for them if you shoot a large slug like on the churchil which then gets slowed down and tears huge chunks out of the armor irl resulting in massive slabs of steel hitting the crew in warthunder it's basically the shell just falling to the bottom of the tank, it's cartoonish.

At the battle of Stonne at the beginning of World War II, the city was regularly taken and retaken several times between France and Germany. During one of the French offensive, a B1 tank alone destroyed around 12 German panzers , 2 anti-tank guns, and continued the fight. Dozens of hits were recorded on the B1 but none penetrated. The Germans then retook the city, and in the next offensive, a second B1 tank arrived in the city, ended up with one of its long tracks on its side along a trench, and continued to advance with the Germans trapped in that trench. It was nicknamed the Butcher of Stonne.

frankly the b1 and lee both prem and stock versions are some of my favorite to seal club with since at their BR/tier new players have learned that taking out the gunner is always a + if you know you cant kill them in the first hit but don't realize both guns on them have separate gunners, this go's double for people comeing over from WOT who are used to 1 gun per tank

Basically every standard low-tier gun can pen it at close range, and you can probably outmaneuver the B1, so you just pop off the gunner until there's no crew left

I'm convinced that AP has been nerfed. I was playing the Churchill 8 a few days ago, got a side shot at a KV-1 so I took it. Dude was fully loaded with ammo, but after putting the 75mm AP shell through 3 separate ammo racks without an explosion I gave up and just sniped his crew instead.
