Mr. Lane does it again. This'll be my bedtime reading tonight. I like the comedic elements thrown in this story. Yeah, I've heard it before, but not from Arthur Lane. Thank you for this gem.

I've always had great admiration for the anticipation capabilities of both H.G. Wells and Jules Vernes, however scientifically primitive their ideas were, much science would never have come to exist without science-fiction there to plant the seed, the dream. I call it SYFYCEPTION!

"Chocolat" is still under copyright protection (and will be for quite a while considering the author is still alive). We can't just record this novel and upload it to KZbin without breaking the law.

2:19:57 what does it mean to converse in American? I am not familiar with this phrase as an American myself and it sort of befuddles me.

It's just an old way of saying to talk together - to converse is to hold a conversation! :)

What if instead of being called the invisible man he was called the inrizzible man and instead of being unable to be seen he was unable to be rizzed?
