Iran was transparent. They said what they were planning to do. Israel got a slap on the wrist and they didn’t like it. They should be thankful no civilians were harmed. That alone, proves who the more civilised country is here. Iran is sending a clear message. Their attack came as no surprise. Unlike the way Israel operates.

It's just political protocols. Nothing more, nothing less. Every country responds according to reasonable political outreach. As would the West or elsewhere if our embassy were destroyed by foreign forces (even if by error).

Iran is braver than Biden in standing up to Netanyahu. I disagree this galvanizes support for Israel among the public. Instead I think this shows how support for Netanyahu is so clearly against America’s interest. I don’t think the public has actual interest in flighting wars for Israel. I’m solidly middle aged, independent voter, no affiliation to Israel or Palestine and I’ve thought for a long time that Israel and the US have lost their moral compass in this thing. I didn’t need college kids to make me think that - please! Blood on our hands folks. Starving children and making their parents sit by helplessly and watch them die. Obvi Israel plans to make Gaza uninhabitable and USA seems to think it’s ok if Israel forces their way in leveling Gaza forever (until Kushner turns it into a golf course after Trump wins bc folks like me aren’t necessarily going to be able to look past this and vote for Biden).

I came over here because I found out that I support Trump because of my jealousy and resentful feelings for what others have. Everything with Trump was planned. This is a very deliberate attempt to bring Trump back to the White House so he can continue his friendship with autocrats. Trump also drove us $9 trillion into debt and four years and increase the debt ceiling three times. We did not have a war in Ukraine to fund, nor was Israel under attack.
