@jay89802 жыл бұрын
this got me thinking, so i did the math. standard north american trains travel 40-50 mph to be as efficient as possible before risking tipping/buckling on turns, and the long line of coal cars tells us this is the standard 70-car coal freighter which weighs 3-8 thousand tons, so well go right in the middle with 5k. now, normally a freight train at this weight and speed would need well more than a mile before the inertia died down, however we can see that the train stopped within a staggeringly short 50 or so feet. this means that the force behind the train went almost entirely into the giants head, instead of slowly losing inertia on the rails. this leaves us with well over 150,000 tons of force applied to both the conductor in the train and of course the giant. its no surprise that the innocent ex-killing machine is fine, but its quite alarming that the aforementioned conductor is completely fine, even though that much energy would turn any living thing into goo almost instantly. it seems the conductor has inhuman, perhaps god-like durability. now we must ask ourselves what else this unnamed entity in human form is capable of, as well as one simple question. can the conductor beat goku?

The locomotive that crashed is a "New York Central J3A Hudson" locomotive, except 2 inaccuracies, you cant exactly get a close up so i don't know if the second point is correct: 1. The J3a was an express locomotive, but here you can see it pulling hoppers 2. The J3a was a steam locomotive, so obviously it has to have a tender, but it doesn't seem to.

i used to think that the giant has more durability when he is in rampage mode
@chasevanderdussen86907 жыл бұрын
I think I can offer a better explanation for this. Time to apply physics to this. The first law: in an initial frame of reference, an object lies dormant (ei the Giant still in front of the train), or remains in motion and continuing at its original velocity, in this case, the train is still moving. The second law: In the initial frame of reference, the concussive force of the train is equal to the mass of the Giant and the train as well, since its carrying more weight despite moving at a fast speed, multiplied by acceleration of the train. The final law: When one body (the train) exerts a force on another (again, the Giant), the second body, the train, simultaneously exerts a force on the giant equal in maginitude and opposite in direction, in this case the train was moving forwards while the Giant stayed stationary, on the first body.
@TheIrrelevantYT6 жыл бұрын
In short, the tank shell can only apply so much power due to its size. A train is hundreds of tons of force, and even if its slower than the tank shell-you know what? Force = mass × acceleration. Done deal.
