Thank you very much for the kind words! I’ve tried to improve my videos over the years and get my intro down to 15 seconds, or as long as necessary. If you run across on of my real old ones, you might have a long intro, I thought that was the way I was supposed to do it.

That first one u did is where my base is just need to find obsidian updatw: came across a purple rino after trying to go back to my base i thought it was only in ark ascended and also ty very much

I know im so late but this helped me so much cause there was an alpha raptor around my base but this guide helped me get crystal to make a spyglass and see its level and kill it (it was level 10 and i killed it with my level 60 horse)

I have a question is the first location that you showed us is it dangerous becaus im scared that i woud die and lose evrything i have Sarco that jas 7k and smth hp is that enought?

It is dangerous, but it is the least dangerous of all the locations. It should be ok with your sarco but Ark happens.

I'm using a baryonyx for my run (trying singleplayer vanilla for a change), and man it's rough lol. Low level dinos because of my player level, so I have like a level 40 bary. Scared of rexes, brontos, and spinos lmao. I can only imagine i'll be referencing this video for my future crystal/metal runs, but i'm not looking forward to it.

Try breeding the bary and imprinting. At least you'll get some better stats.

I’m not sure if it’s fixed or not with this game problem. I generally build on the same beach spot in center. At some point when having a good flying creature of some kind I like to farm vast metal. But the problem is the area wouldn’t replenish. I know areas don’t replenish if built on them but I don’t. I just take the metal and leave. Is this something that was fixed. I love this game I do but at times I find the game glitches frustrating and can we please get a creature that Eats the jellyfish. 🤦‍♂️

Sometimes resource respawning can seem bugged, but I haven’t noticed it for awhile. Basilosaurus are not stunned by jellyfish or eels, and make life in the ocean so much better!

Love the videos i just started playing uve taught me alot. Could u make a video showing how to reset the resource spawns on aingle player console? My crystal obsidian and silica pearls arent respawning in like they should.

I'm glad you love the videos. I'm trying to get Ark to reinstall on the xbox (crashed while updating) so I can answer your question. On pc there is a slider for resource respawn interval. The lower the number, the faster the respawn. I can't remember if console has this slider or not. Crystal and obsidian take longer to respawn than metal, in my experience. In single player there is a check box in the options menu. Otherwise it is a server setting, which you can't change unless you are an admin. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5nbe56ehdibeM0

Does this stuff spawn at random and not always at these locations? I've gone to every crystal location listed on KZbin and found none. Crazy I can find a unicorn but can't find crystal

Most resources do not spawn randomly. If you are on singleplayer something might be wrong with your resource respawn interval setting.

On the advanced tab in the options menu, there is a "resource respawn interval" setting, but that should only be resources after you have harvested them. The lower the setting the faster the respawn. However, it sounds like you have never seen crystal, which makes it sound like some kind of bug. All crystal nodes should be in the exact same place and quantity on every players map. I am not sure what the fix would be other than to cheat crystal in. Maybe someone else has had the same problem, and an internet search would help. Could they be there but not visible? I hope you can find a solution.
