It's always so surreal to look back at Legacy Pachy and compare it to what it is now.

Fractures are going to play an interesting role that will do pachy some good without question. Namely, fractures are locational just like attack damage, having different effects based on where damage is done and how severe. We’ve had it confirmed as an example that taking a knock to the head from an animal that can induce fractures may have effects such has blurred vision for a short period of time which will give pachy the edge in either escaping or disorienting an opponent long enough or secure victory. I can’t wait to play as this bonk boy in EVRIMA.

The piece of concept where it smashes the head of a Troodon makes me think Pachy is gonna have an attack where it literally smashes its head into the ground and anything unfortunate enough to be caught inbetween the ground and Pachy's head is fucked.

The head fracture is literally a death sentence, I had a full grown dilo and got head fractured first hit and couldn't do ANYTHING until eventually the peachy finished me off

The Headsmash attack in the concept against the troodons could potentially be a Alt attack that could do possible stun or insane head shot damage 🤔

My problem with herbivores has always been the lack of challenge in finding food. Hopefully the diet system will change that and make herbi gameplay more interesting, as Pachy really looks like the kind of herbivore I would play.

Nice video, it's really interesting to see your take on the animals. Although I noticed some stuff that I think are interesting to note. The Isle's Pachy isn't oversized, with anything in range between 1.50m (4.9 feet) to 1.80m (5.9 feet) tall and 4.5m (14.7 feet) in length being a accurate estimate. Pachy in legacy is faster than Sucho, Giga, Cerato, Dilo, Allo and Rex, not taking into consideration the ambush speed, since it's a momentary thing and it won't come back in evrima. The intraspecific fight shown in Pachy's CA is a thing the devs want to add and it would have something to do with the group system, where you could challenge the leader of the group to take it's place and receive bonus status, although it isn't set in stone and is only something the devs think it would be cool to add. Pachy in evrima will also have a charge attack both for defence and to ram into tall trees, who would drop fruits, but I'm not sure how it compares to Carno's charge. Btw, if you think pachycephalosauridae is a big family just wait until you see hadrosauridae and ceratopsidae lol

My two cents is if a mid-tier or higher dino is laying down or sleeping, and has their head within reach of a pachy, I hope the pachy be able to inflict substantial damage to them with a charge or head slam. So technically, no dino is ever too safe if their within the pachy's reach, even bigger dinos should be stunned a bit by a full speed charge to the head.

I think a good way for them to avoid predators is make them like mountain goats, there some ideas that pachycephalosaurs were mountaineering dinosaurs, so them being able scale sheerer surfaces would help their bad match ups against almost every larger carnivore. In real life they most likely avoided predation by being big enough to take on juvenile rexes and dakotaraptors using their heads as an effective deterrent, whilst being quicker than adult rexes, not really being worth the trouble, and likely able to avoid rexes by living in more densely forested areas as well as avoiding detection via this. That doesnt work in the Isle so making them rock climbers would probably be better, as well as faster than bulkier carnivores, with the only predators being able to get to them being smaller ones like 'troodon' and velo. I have no idea what the point of monolophosaurus is, its just seems kinda useless and doesnt fill a niche already taken by something else. Other than that I can see it having a very shit, stupid and probably useless gimik.
