Hey mombie! Next time try using the charged bite less, nowadays it's only useful against carno. Better thing you can do against tenos, dilos, omnis and sometimes other ceras is using and abusing of the regular bite and your agility. Anyways, nice video as always :)

@@da.mombie Agree. As a solo teno, I have killed 3 ceras. Now of course it comes down to skill and I could run into one that could kill me. It hasn't happened yet but I'm sure it can. Come to think of it, I think cera is the only dino I haven't died to as a teno excluding things smaller than an omni. I've even died to pachys as a teno

@@ScottM436 in my opinion there are only two ways to win such a 2vs1 as solo. either the one player is VERY skillful or the two players are VERY new. there is nothing in between. an average player vs two less average players has no chance. even a "on the top of" average player will struggle vs two average ones. so, only the very new and the very skillful. both are rare on the isle. the very new are even more than the skill gods. even if many think it's different. but, like you didn't encounter a cera which killed your teno so far, I also didn't encounter many of those very skillful players. in fact, I read more often about them than I actually met them

I stuck and called for help. if the deino wouldn't have been also around, then I would have been thankful that it killed me. with the deino I still had a little hope, but, it might have killed me as well, so XD

I am not that positive about nights tho. dondi loves the darkness to create scary moments. so, I don't think they will get as bright as I personally would love them to be

I didn't see it. not even while the editing if the deino wouldn't have come, I would have been thankful to the stego. doesn't mean the deino wouldn't have killed me either, but, it felt like a small chance that slipped away yeah, I knew I had no chance. my goal was to fight for 2-3 minutes to have a nice ending. but, not even that worked out. anyway, it was already past midnight and there were only about 35 players left. I had to start editing the next morning, so, I didn't have much of a choice

I know three spawn places of goats in the highlands. one at the lake, one at the field and one if you go down to the north? northwestish? side. I also always stand there for some minutes, to give them time to spawn, but, that day, nothing I am no fan of the northeast and east area, too. it's like the northwest of spiro. the weirdo zone. I try to cross the map in each of my videos, but, sometimes I don't find anyone for an hour or even two. I don't have time to play 10 hours for one video tho, so, I often have to go to these places again ^^

Very nice of that dilo to not kill you during a crash. I don't think I like that you can't scent when poisoned from dilo. The poison is quite strong already with the visual difficulty and the hallucinations attacking, I think the inability to scent is unnecessary. Even if they made it where you can't scent footprints and could only scent food and water it would be better imo. I've seen quite a few dinos get stuck on the lil mud pillars in swamp (what are they anyway? termite hills?), and I think its just so silly ... I don't think there needs to be as many of them in swamp as there is and they really should fix dinos getting stuck on them.

yeah, I wasn't expecting tu survive that crash at all the problem is, if you are low on water and in an area you don't know, then 3 minutes without scenting can be pretty long. even if the dilo doesn't even attack anymore the swamp is such a mess. I was with galli at the human buildings which are close to one of the big structures. every^time I go to that place, there is something new. they always put new containers, a new fence or other silly stuff there which nobodies needs anyway. jeez, fix the swamp before you keep playing around with structures ^^

I've seen pigs chase after frogs, goats, and even my gf. Can't trust em. You were missing bites that should have counted and I've been doing the same. Something with that cooldown messed things up. As a dilo I got stuck to the side of a cera, I bit and never hit, he bit and didn't hit me. We untagled and started again. Something is off. Someone else said they think the animation is not synced with the bite so idk. Also, I would have loved for you to get to adult and see if you can vomit lock something again. Fought 2 ceras that ran up on me and I couldn't move just kept puking. Later on met this couple and one of them died to prob the same two. I asked if he got vomit locked and she said he doesn't think so, it was like he was stuck and couldn't move. Sounds like vomit lock to me. So either it's back or those 2 found an exploit.

pigs are angry that they weren't allowed to attack since gateway I was adult at the end. I faced the two tenos as adult, but, like you said, something feels weird with the bites. I often miss and would have died anyway, so, no excuse, but, when I watched the footage I also thought I should have hit at least some more of my tries. sometimes I was right on target and it didn't count. same in return. the teno kicked right at me at one point and it didn't count. they fixed that rubber banding, but, something is messed up. the ping starts at 90 after restart and two hours later I have about 150 ping on an EU server. if the teno has 150, too, then it isn't surprising that the hitboxes are messed up. that said, I prefer this to the rubber banding

@@da.mombie Did you watch the recent video on the Isle news update? Anorak said something about how they calculated the value of ping before and displayed it as opposed to now. So I'm not sure if it's the same ping value represented differently. He was saying something about there being 2 different ways to calculate ping. I'm not a programmer so not sure but it seemed like the ping didn't change just the value they're showing. I could be wrong if someone knows.

@@ScottM436 I saw the isle news video about the dondi stream. with bary being moved up the list, many things about guns and an upcoming jungle. but, I missed the one you are speaking about. I am no dev myself and have no idea to be honest. on the other hand, I played a lot of PVP games and a ping was always a ping. till 50 ok, 50-80 already bad for FPS, but kind of ok for 3rd person. above 100 bad and above 200 is unplayable. I never played a game which shows 150 ping and felt well to play. not once. so, I don't know what he is talking about. there might be a different way to measure it, but, nobody does. at least not in the many PVP games I played since my first counter strike match 25 years ago fun fact, I had a ping of 20-30 in counter strike. 25 years ago with an internet that needed 20 hours to download a 700 MB movie

@@da.mombie I agree on the ping. He was saying there's one way and he explained what it is and said it's usually called "true ping." Then explained another way of counting the return trip as well. Now I don't know if this is true but I take it as they are doing it the second way, which means the ping did not change just the number on the screen or why would he bring all the up to begin with. I can't see the ping being this bad and you avoiding that carno on I think your last video as an omni. I think we would be biting something and hearing them make the noise well after the bite. Like I said I'm just guessing here since with the new patch the ping doubled but the performance went up and it doesn't play like Spiro when it got those high ping spikes. I do think the ping is still too high. It works now because the fights are face-to-face, but once humans come in they wouldn't be able to hit anything more than 20-30 meters out. 20 hours to download a movie is a little rough lol. I remember it would take an hour to download a single song but this was more than a few years ago.

I often have a ping of 150 now and it doesn't feel that bad at all. even if it also doesn't feel like a really good ping. but, not as bad as a "real" 150 ping well, before I even played PVP games, I downloaded music on napster. about 5-10 hours for one song with about 3 MB. when the download got disconnected somehow (like the guy you were downloading it from turned off his PC), it was gone. no pause and start from there. you had to start all over and you know what? it was amazing and great back then. imagine! you can download a song and mix your own CD. amazing how far we have come! from today's view, jeeeeeeez

you have to step on white tracks and tap Q. then they turn blue and are better to follow. important is to tap Q and not hold it like you normally do for scenting. that confused me at the start to be honest. but, it's in the game for quite a while now. update 5 or so?

@@da.mombieI never get footprints that show through objects and terrain like that though but you are not the first person on youtube that I have seen has that effect. I know how to start tracking but if a tree or terrain is in the way I cant see them, lost plenty of people like that in hills or thick forests and such since I then have to either run close to the tracks or gain high ground to "look down" on the terrain where the prints are. Often its even just the blood that lets me keep tracking them as the prints are hidden below the 3 degree slope or w/e... so its lucky the blood has that red light effect above it at least.

@@TheHuffur you have to scent in between. as soon as you have picked up the tracks, you can only see them from a distance of about 3-5 yards or so. means you almost have to step over them and so the next ones are barely/hard to find. therefore you have to scent. by holding scent (after you picked up the tracks) this radius gets bigger. as longer you hold as bigger it gets (well, until a certain point). so, if you scent for 3-5 seconds you can see the next tracks from more far away. even through some obstacles. keep in mind that this effect doesn't last forever. so, if the tracking goes for a longer distance, you have to scent in between every now and then.

as soon as you see white footprints, you have to step on them and tap Q (or whatever key you might have redirected your scent). important is to just tap, not hold like you normally do for scenting. then they turn blueish and show you in which direction you'll find the next. to follow them more properly, you should scent some seconds in between every now and then. if you scent (hold Q), then the radius of footsteps gets bigger. means, you see the next ones from more far away. as longer you scent, as from more far you see the next. if you don't scent, then this radius gets smaller after a while you have to almost step over the next ones to see them, which is pretty difficult to follow. sounds more complicated then it is XD

thx mate ♥ the horde test is what the stress test was before. they do it a couple of weeks before the update drops. to test it before release. the stress test was closed and you had to apply to have a chance to get an invite. which I always did, but never got invited. the horde test is public tho, so, everyone can play on it.
