it took a few tries to finally get our stego to adult. it was a mix of being stupid and unlucky XD but, after all we did it and had fun with our cutie. we even got attacked as adult. two times!!! ;-)

thx mate ♥ yeah, it was a rough start I saw videos where troodons killed a stego. so, I wanted to know how much damage they do. at the start they did quiet a lot. 10% of stego are many health points. but, troodon can get sniped by stego when it jumps off. which makes it VERY vulnerable and therefore tough to take down, I guess.

nice video man, when you did the timelapse of the swimming the noise was adorable, and whats funny is the pack of troodons didnt understand how venom worked they just spammed it, your supposed to wait for the chirp before puncing again so it stacks.

thx mate ♥ yeah, that's the biggest problem with troodon. it's supposed to be played coordinated, but, that's very tough in random groups without comms. so, I don't blame them. personally I also don't know exactly how it works. as a solo troodon I know that I have to pounce until it becomes purple (which is mostly after the second pounce). as far as I know it's the stage where the venom works best. so, I wait till it's gone and try to get it on purple again. but, I don't know if this purple is for the whole group or does everyone has his own green and purple? does venom stack from different players together or for each individually? so, that my purple stacks with purple of others to a kind of super purple?

yeah, I don't know what it was. it didn't have venom at the start. so, maybe the first venom (fresh adult) is very weak? I hope so, 'cause if solo troodon is that weak, then I can bury my dream to 1vs1 a teno someday EDIT: jeez, I was in the wrong video in my mind. I edited a carno video today where you will see the poison even better. next friday

@@da.mombie I think the venom might be a tad weaker and in fresh adult troodon, but perhaps that just means it takes more time for the venom stage to enact? If they pounce before the sound cue it resets the venom stage altogether. I saw a video here on yt of a guy soloing a pachy and with all correctly timed hits I believe it only took 6 pounces.

Hello Mombie, I've found a pretty cool POT server (PT realism), there you can invite people to your "nest" (yes, it is pretty fun) and being a realism server, you won't encounter so many toxic people (i hope lol) the only boring part is the verification to enter it. (and it's discord based). I think you will like it, i was born in a herd of like 20 or so iggys and there will be a "guide" iggy herd by Friday.

I loved the part with the croc chasing you must be so frustrating for a little morsel to be juuuust out of reach like that. I also don't like how venerable you are when you jump off, since there's not much you can do about it. Tbh I also think stego shouldn't be able to swing so rapidly, I feel there should be more recovery time between swings.

yeah, in that regard it was good that I've been killed by that omni. would have missed a nice chase otherwise it's really unfair. when you jump on, then it's up to you. but, if you jump off, then you can't influence it much. so, as soon as the stego has a good reaction time, you are without a chance. which shouldn't be the case imo. more recovery time between could help indeed

@@fayecarr5803 honestly, this keeps the circle going. yes, many stego players are aggro. but, many also aren't. if you kill every stego you see, then yes, you will get many who deserve it. but, also some who don't deserve it. if these people get killed as a helpless babu all the time tho, then they very likely will also become aggro and the circle continues. that's why I also don't like if people say all galli are trolls or all deinos are cannis or anything like that. 'cause it depends on the player. the babu you kill is very unlikely the one who killed you. it's just the same species and can be an aggro, but also the nicest player around on the other hand, I'm happy that people also kill babus. 'cause personally I love the threat while growing. that's why I enjoy babu stego even more than adult.

@@da.mombie EU 2 server x). Lol that Stego on the wall in swamp was i. I had my eyes on the Raptors so i didn't see that Cera incoming and you wasn't close enough to help you. This is the place i go to if i just want to relax and help some baby Stego's grow. I take that wall postion so they can see me. Also when big carnivores come i always do the little Stego's on the wall and put myself between them. This way they can't get pass me to go after the little ones. Works like a bottleneck. Many Stego's on that server are raised to full adult by me. I am their dad, most Stego's on that server all know me. This was close to moment i was betrayed myself as well. By 2 Stego's called Princess and SexyFish a Cerato and a Raptor mixpacking. But my own fault i should have know. I chased that pack away a few days ago. Cause they where finishing of baby's Teeno's. Just did run them out of the area. Wasn't planning on finishing them off, cause they where small themself. But i should have. And it was my mistake to give them a other chance.

@@da.mombie thanks for the quick response. My specs are AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X, Rtx 4070 ti, 32 gb ram. With a Philips 2560 / 1440 p monitor. I was wondering what specs your pc has because I got similar performance. Only in center with a lot of bodies I saw you still had some decent fps. While I just got max 30 fps in that area with a lot of bodies. Nice video!

@@karelstoks3310 thx mate ♥ I play in 4k and have limited the FPS to 60, 'cause I also record with 60 frames. but, as far as I know is the 4070 pretty similar to the 3080 and the game relates on the GPU anyway. my CPU is at around 20% while I play. so, you should have pretty much the same performance. I wonder why you have 30 sometimes. specially on 1440p. the 4070 should even be slightly better in my opinion. :/ the 3080 has only 10GB video memory. doesn't the 4070 have even 12GB?

I do need to mention that I only got that insane fps drop in center or north west. It depends on the bodies and activity. Outside of those crowded areas I got 144 fps.
