it was a lovely session. srsly, growing stegos is much more fun than playing adult then. we died a couple of times, but, we also had many sweet and fun encounters with others. I will miss stego :(

When I heard stego was moving from officials to community servers alongside trike and Rex, I was a bit sad. Most Stegos may be aggressive and fat, but they’re our aggressive and fat boys. Why can’t they just rebalance them to make them not as op?

in my opinion they don't even have to make them more weak, just boost deino. make deino vs stego an even battle. both of them are too strong for everyone else anyway. as soon as stegos are gone, deino will dominate. remove both or none. I would rather have rex and trike on the officials from start on to be honest. I don't care about the balance of the ecosystem. I want dinos. the isle is and will always be an unfair game anyway. what's the difference in fairness, between an adult stego vs an omni, a babu teno vs a adult carno, 5 ceras vs a solo pachy or a 2000 hour player vs a new player? balance is so overrated in this game in my opinion.

@@da.mombie I think so, too. Especially since some dinos take more time to grow than others. They take more time, because in the end they'll be stronger than those who take less time. It all already makes sense the way it is. Also, the smaller dinos can outrun stegos and deinos anyway so they don't necessarily have to fight them.

@@Yamizan true. there should be (and also is) a difference between 1 hour and 5 hours growtime. 5 omnis = 5 hours growtime. this should match an adult stego. if the outcome is one dead stego and 4 dead omnis, then it would be a fair outcome.

one of the best things of my channel is to see that there are many other nice player in the isle community. don't trust anyone, the rules of survival, you have to kill everyone or you will regret it. what a nonsense. you and many others are the perfect example that you can have fun in this game without being a ruthless killer all the time ♥

I think they just need to introduce a better rival for stegos. If they just add rex, then there will be two dinos to threaten them. I think removing it is almost like admitting defeat. Also, its not like it chases anything down... for the most part the only way you interact with it is if you choose to get close enough. Strange decision in my opinion

I couldn't agree more. of course there are some corpse guard and annoying mates as well. but, let's be real, these players will still be annoying, even without stego. every other situation is our own choice. I don't see any problem with stego at all. give deinos 1.000 bitefore and stegos will be very careful around the water. that 1.000 wouldn't even effect others much. beside stego, deino can grab anything anyway. and to fight a deino as teno or carno on land is also a bad outcome by now. just stay away of them like of stegos

I really like the challenge. so, if I kill you after a good and fair fight, then I am happy. if I kill you while I have the disadvantage, then I am even proud. if I kill you while I have the advantage myself, then I feel nothing or even bad. as bigger my advantage as more bad it feels. killing babus feels bad only then yeah, I loved how brave it was

I dont play stego personally so its a reason to not miss them. Lots of stego player body guard which can make the game much less fun as a carni, but for people who like to play stego and dont play to be annoying i can see how they would miss them.

I will miss them in many ways. first and foremost the babus. they are so cute. I love to play them and to scare them as carni. I will also miss the challenge they can give you as carni. with a good troodon or omni pack. in update 4 I even loved to try them as carno. but, carnos nowadays are too stiff to try them imo. anyway, yes, there are also people who play them like trolls. but, these mates will play every dino like a troll. I don't expect them to switch to teno, deino or any other and behave "normally" now. but sure, stego was the most powerful and therefore most untouchable for trolls. still, I will miss me stego :(

ceras are only really a big threat when they're a good group xD i had a group of maybe four cera where we fought two mid sized stegos, plus about 3 of us were already injured from being grabbed by a croc and trying to save each other lol we ended up killing both of them but man i don't think i could see my health when i checked tab, one of our friends did die though unfortunately lmao i like your stego videos, there's this confidence you reach at a certain growth where you no longer really have any anxiety over dying xD also i have a newfound respect for them since growing a stego myself, it takes forever and there's so much walking for grow diet :,)

same for omnis. they could be a big threat to stegos, if they would be more organized. well, and if the drop off would work better. a stego shouldn't be able to snipe swing after a pounce imo. but, the main point is, you need a good group to take down a stego. let's be real, most groups you run into are mostly chaotic. just look at those omnis. noone even tried to bait and go in after. they ran straight into me. srsly, what did they expect to happen? in my opinion stego is too easy to grow. way too easy. I would triple their growtime and make the ways between the plants much longer. marigold, sumac & pumpkin are too close to each other. it is more fun as juvie and sub anyway. as adult is almost no threat anymore. you have to play suicidal or run into canni stegos. there is no other way to die. well, a cliff

I love how the raptor at the end just accepted that you were chill hehe I have mixed feelings about them removing stego from officials. On one hand I enjoy having stegos around and they can be a fun, challenging fight. On the other hand a lot of stegos are annoying and overly aggressive. If we had a better rival to stegos, then I think it wouldn't be as bad. I think the stego's swing could get nerfed a bit too tbh, it has such a wide range that it hits. Like at 9:40, really only the tip of the tail hits the raptor's tail tip as it dismounts but it counts as a one shot and the raptor is stuck on the tail. Stegos should fear organized raptor packs and large troodon packs, but rn pouncing is so iffy that its often not worth the risk. :(

that's such a good point. stego can hit omnis way too easy. specially if they drop off from the pounce. either reduce the swing or let omnis get off more far away. they should and would be a perfect threat. troodons, too. if you buff deinos biteforce and make them equal, then I see no reason why you should remove them. well, I don't even see a reason without that as well. the annoying players will still be annoying, just with another dino. I don't know why so many think stego is the reason for them playing like jerks. they will play every dino like a jerk ^^ I would even put rex and trike in the game. why not? if too many play rex, then they will end up starving anyway. the good players will survive and the bad players will stop to play it pretty soon. in favour of a little dino that is more easy to survive. in my opinion, people cry too much about the balance. there is no balance anyway. I guess, in average not even one out of 20 fights I had was balanced. either outnumbered or outgrown. what's the difference between an adult carno vs a juvie teno and a rex vs an adult teno? well, the adult teno can outrun the rex but, in terms of a fair and balanced fight, no difference imo.

I will miss to play as stego and to vs stego. it's the biggest challenge in the game. I loved to try them as carno (back in the days when they weren't as stiff), I love to try them as solo deino. I love to try them in a pack as omni or dilo or even troodon (if you find enough). actually, to kill a stego in a 1vs1 as deino was one of my best experiences in evrima in terms of fighting. so yeah, I will miss it a lot. I ain't afraid of stegos

Hi Mombie, Nices video, wie immer😁 Spielst du eigentlich auch auf dem petit pieds server? Ich war die letzten 2 Wochen darauf und war positiv überrascht. Durch einen spawn-Kontroll bot ist das Dino-Verhältnis doch recht gut gemischt (man kann trotzdem immer in einen save spawnen oder genestet werden). Dazu kommen 140 Plätze bei guter Performance.

@@da.mombie Das ist der Server von poutine italienne. Wenn zu viele Dinos einer Art auf dem Server sind, wird diese Dinoart zeitweise vom regulären spawning gesperrt. Man kann aber in seinen bestehenden dino einloggen oder in einem Nest spawnen. Das meinte ich 😊

are there different ones? sry, I don't know. I bought the game more than 2 years ago. there was only a one player and a four player package. so, for one PC or for you and three friends. but, no difference in package. I just checked the homepage. as far as I read, there are only some more extra skins in the more expensive package. so, if you are someone who loves many different skins or show off rare skins, then maybe. but, there are many normal skins as well and I would go for the cheaper one.

uhm, that changed with every update. the last was the best in my opinion, 'cause the night was only about 20 mins and the day about 40. depending on when you call it day or night (transition time) it was even 15 minutes to 45. something like that. now it is like 50 mins and 50 mins :/

they will come. but, much later. the devs think the ecosystem isn't ready for APEX yet. they will upgrade stego to an APEX. means, it will become much stronger to stand a chance vs rex. which I didn't see coming at all to be honest. to me stego always was a mid tier dino. but, anyway, for now they will remove them. as soon as the ecosystem offers more dinos (and bigger prey for rex), they will return to the officials. that said, this will take at least a year, I guess. probably even two to three. we have to see :/

people seem to be more spread out at the moment. but, I still always meet players at NW. even tho I wasn't that often there lately. the swamp is often empty, but, I played troodon today and the swamp was full. saw 6 stegos in 2 different groups, a pachy, 2-3 omnis, a carno, a deino and about 5-6 tenos. was crazy. around the oasis are also always players recently. and like you said, the north center.

srsly, specially when I play deino I will miss stego. it was the only challenge to go for. now we can only be cannibals to have any kind of challenge. deino life will become way more boring without stegos. I can walk across the land whenever I want. nothing to fear = boring. cannibals all over = annoying. it will support all those who love to play cannibal. other deino players won't benefit from a world without stegos in my opinion.

thx mate ♥ I play on Islander's path of titans server. in the isle I prefer the officials by now tho. this may change with trike, rex and stego, but, will for sure change as soon as humans come into the game. so, anyway, I will probably end on community servers someday XD

Definitely been playing a lot more stego after hearing they'll be taken off official servers. I really don't get why they even want to lock apex dinos from official servers. Balance? Why does deino get to stay? They're apex too. :/

yeah, I don't get it either. balance is ridiculous anway. in my opinion it is totally overrated. stego wasn't balanced till now, too. if you remove it, then deino won't be balanced. every adult vs juvie fight isn't and will never be balanced. what's the difference between an omni vs a stego and a babu teno vs an adult carno? there will always be unfair fights in this game, so :/

Wie du in irgendeinem Kommentar erwähnt hast hat der stego einfach keine Herausforderungen zu bewältigen was schade ist. der Diablo wird ein guter ersatz mit dem rex. Ein bisschen werde ich ihn glaube ich vermissen. Aber der stego ist einfach zu stark.

als adult ist es langweilig. aber, das könnte man leicht beheben. wenn omnis pounce verlässlicher, oder zumindest der absprung nicht eine 50/50 chance zu sterben wäre, dann könnten die stego fordern. ich hab schon videos gesehen wo troodons ein stego erlegt haben. mach stego anfällig gegen diese beiden und schon hat man auch als adult stego spaß. oder verdoppel deinos biteforce. deino kann sowie alle anderen dinos ins wasser ziehen. völlig egal ob es 500 oder 1000 biteforce hat. das hat kaum einfluss auf den rest. würde nur deino vs deino und eben deino vs stego beeinflussen. ich hab ehrlich gesagt keine ahnung warum deino so wenig beißkraft hat. hab ich noch nie verstanden. in meinen augen sind alle teno vs deino oder carno vs deino kämpfe an land sowieso lächerlich. selbst ich als deino noob hatte noch nie ein problem gegen 4-5 tenos, carnos oder was auch immer.

@@snowleopard4167 thx ♥ I love doing it, so, it doesn't feel that long. but, this is even without playtime. normally I play about 4-6 hours. then I watch the footage with 4x speed and cut out the best parts. which takes a little less than 2 hours. then I make the first raw cut out of those pieces. takes about 1 hour. then I start to edit, means transitions, bubbles and so on. this takes about 3-4 hours. then I search music for 1-2 hours. to check every bubble for spelling mistakes takes another 30-45 minutes. I also watch the video 4-6 times between all those steps. 'cause I have to see if the music fits, if there are boring parts which I may re-edit or cut out. 10 hours are nothing but again, I love doing it. time flies by doing that. to be honest. I also take my time. I don't hurry myself. I would probably be able to come down to 5-6 hours each video. I already was there once, but, in my opinion these videos had less quality. I didn't even place the bubbles at that time. I had fix places left and right. it looks terrible if I watch those videos again. so, I rather take my time

it's going to be removed when rex and trike arrives. all of them will only be available on the community servers, 'cause they are too big (not for me) for the ecosystem by now. they will come back to the officials much later I guess.

yes, at the time I made this video they announced that stego will be removed as soon as trike and rex enter the game. those three will only be available on community server at the start. 'cause they think they don't fit into the ecosystem yet.

@@da.mombie as we see the ecosystem change, like with the apexes, the game will most likely change for the better, a the moment, the mods have stated that spino vs deinos in the water would be 50/50, now I don't know about you, but spino has 9000 health, and is getting a damage buff, so deinos needs a big buff in damage, seeing as it uses alt bites, an this drains it's stan quickly so deinos needs a buff in damage imo. Also I admire the fact that you back to month old videos to reply to your fans, truly the best isle KZbinr, and you dont kos or body guard, an angel of the isle.

dont get it why they take stegos out. sure they way too bulky, but its not like they are carnies in the first place. and even when some stegos just pick the dino for battel its not like its slower than anyone. we have way to many carnivores in any server of the isle because ... except stego and teno all other herbies are quite easy to hunt and lack in power and/or speed to defend themself. stego is in my book the missiong sauropod of spiro-> nearly untouchable with 100% size. what I mean is, make other herbivores with more defensiv options like diabolo, kentro and maybe theri and we have less carnivores and less stegos. also why are 2 of 3 specific plants in center? would also stop too big populationsizes on one place.

yeah, the plants are way too close together. let babus run across the map. I would even love the grow time to be much longer. double or even triple it. they are more fun to raise then to play as adult anyway. at least as long as it is almost untouchable as adult. 15 hours growtime with many and long ways to go would scare the trolls off. let's be real, if you know the game, then you can grow a stego in the east, with almost no threat and even 3 of the 5 hours within a bush. the perfect troll dino. easy to grow and super easy to play as adult. make them a challenge to grow at least.

I will miss it a lot. these mixpackers will still be around. then with pachy and carno or cera or deino and you will still end up dead if one of them breaks your leg :(

If you get hunted by a stego after leg breake you are just dead cause you dont have a chance with 1.8 thousand hp against 8. Thousand hp with 1300 dmg

@@Cube.Master187 well, in my experience mixpackers are rarely two players only. so, a 1vs1 after a pachy break my leg is very unlikely to me. I just wonder how often this happened to you. 'cause I have 2.000 hours in evrima and a stego killing me after a pachy broke my leg happened once? maybe twice? even if it would be 10 times, it wouldn't matter to me. 'cause at the same time I died about 50 times to a cliff

I have almost 600 hrs evrima and it happened to me like 9 times and i even won 50% of them cause the most mixpackers are absolute trash at the game .And im just trained alot because i often train with my friend and learn alot from nappn

i think stego will get removed when its got kit adjustment for make it an apex and i don't think anyone want a buffed stego with a better tail attack in the official especially with hacker its gonna be annoying, its a good choice tbh

yeah, it will be removed to unofficials after a buff to be able to fight a rex. which is weird to me. stego should be a mid tier and no apex in my opinion. but, that's another story. I would love to have trike and rex on the officials from start on. in my opinion balancing is very overrated in this game. what is the difference between a stego vs a carno and an adult carno vs a babu teno? or 5 carnos vs one pachy? or a 2000 hours player vs a new player. this game will never be fairly balanced anyway. it's impossible imo. hackers are annoying with every dino. a speed & stam hack deino can even catch your carno on land. don't get me wrong, I get it if people think it is better without stego and I don't even say they are wrong, but, I think different. I never had a problem with stego being too strong.
