Mr. Adesina as an adviser to the President since the President cannot come out and speak to the press and answer questions as most leaders around the world will do occasionally, I think based on the situation in the country today there should be a daily briefing the Government position on the insecurity in the country and the steps the Government is taking to address the situation. The world watches horrible pictures of killings going in the country almost daily without any interference by the authorities. One wonders whether the President does not see these pictures all over the social media. Yes, the President must have taken a stand these atrocities committed by herdsmen all over the country as Mr. Adesina has pointed out but so far nothing has changed. There is what is call re-enforcement of position taken or certain matter. Without actions the position is worthless. Mr Adesina and Shehu Garba as the mouthpiece of the President ought to be holding daily or weekly Press conferences address what is going on in the presidency and answer questions from the members of the press since the President cannot hold Press conferences as expected. This will end the tension that the Presidency most of the time, is silent about matters that affect the country daily. Both Messers Adesina and Garba do not have to wait until someone says something before jumping to defend the Presidency. Nigerians deserve to hear from the Presidency through daily or weekly Press Conferences. This is the responsibility of the communication arm of every Government around the world. If this was happening Nigerians would complain less about the Presidency.
