In the monster game. You put an emphasis on the mummy and how screwed you are when you are revealed. But the mummy has an added effect. If they date every other player, the curse is lifted. It adds a huge part to the mummy post-reveal, basically the mummy has every previous date they had as a hostage. Everyone who dated them is now interested in having the mummy date new players to lift the case. It also means the mummy has to make a choice pre-revealed, stay low in order to slowly date as many people before being revealed or taking the hostage path
@CheesyLizzy3 жыл бұрын
I agree. A better comparison for who would become a black sheep by getting revealed is the Zombie.
@Usend_Licrua3 жыл бұрын
it seems reasonable and an interesting choice, i guess another one would be with the ghost, what can i say it's just "date me or i'll break your knees" thing, which may include just make someone not get a date in fear that they will lose a heart while you just go with someone else
@Tredenix3 жыл бұрын
@@Usend_Licrua Yeah, and I'm pretty sure the reason the ghost starts with a heart is because that player _wants_ to be revealed early on, to actually leverage that threat.
@silokhawk Жыл бұрын
Super late response but with the mummy, the caveat of the curse being lifted if everyone has said curse doesn’t matter since you can't force other players to date the mummy; And if they haven't dated the mummy, they have the upperhand since everyone else besides them will lose points. The bottom line is that if you're cursed, you don't want to date the mummy so someone else can date it, and if you don't have the curse, you obviously don't want to lose points by dating a mummy, nor will you want to help others out by lifting the curse.

It is my favorite pack honestly, and ultimately the most well rounded pack; it has no bad games! Fibbage 3, Monster Seeking Monster and Survive the Internet are all top games and none of the games are made obsolete by sequels. @caseys26983 жыл бұрын
This isn’t a bad one by any means, you could do worse, with the first party pack for instance. If you want to get another Pack, I definitely recommend Pack 3, it’s my favorite. It does have games that have sequels like Silok said, but the older versions of Quiplash and Trivia Murder Party are perfectly playable and still hold up well today. Also, Tee KO is absolutely hilarious, especially with close friends. I’d honestly recommend Pack 3 for Tee KO alone, it’s that good. (And you can actually buy the tee shirts everyone makes in game, which trust me, you’ll likely want to do!) Pack 5 is also really great, and probably gives you the most bang for your buck, with Mad Verse City and Patently Stupid both being standout hilarious games that my friends and I absolutely love, and I’ve heard nothing but praise for them. Split The Room is also very solid. You Don’t Know Jack is alright, aaaaand Zeepledome is terrible but that doesn’t really matter because the other games are so great 😆 Really, you can’t go wrong with any Jackbox Party Pack (except probably the first one), but if you can only spend so much or don’t want to waste any money, I hope this helps you in choosing another party pack in the future. Cheers! :)

In all seriousness, I have been waiting for this video. I needed a good objective view of this Party Pack. Currently, I don't see a reason to get it as it doesn't fit with my circle of friends, but it feels good to hear someone review the games individually. Though one thing you didn't say about Monster Seeking Monster that you SHOULD have was how awful the balance of the monster powers are. Zombie is basically an instant-win in most situations, and most people tend to agree that Mummy is an instant-lose. And then the other monsters are just all over the place and/or difficult to make use of.

What about for civic doodles you can cut out pieces of the art and re size and move them and use it in a new way. If someone draws something that takes up the whole canvas . Cut it out make it smaller and make more room for drawing . And people could cut out pieces of the art to make new thing. Maybe to keep the game mostly the same you have to cut out a certain amount of the picture and can’t make it too small so it can keep the add to the picture thing.
