I am 75 now. 65? years in music education and performance. Started with my first song age 8. Mostly Jazz. Hard to see all these important people in my life fading away. I have the same butt cushion and it is hard to stand any more. Lucky me I still can sing and play. Enjoying every minute!!

The crusaders, I first heard them in 1966,( scratch, doing that thing) these guy came out of houston 5th ward with neighbors like the laws family ( Hubert, ronnie and eloise) my favorite although they all are. Carmel ...is creme de la creme.

このライブ映像は2012年なのですね。 ウィルトン・フェルダーが2010年に病に倒れて腫瘍手術、放射線治療という情報に心配していました。 フェルダーの豪快なブロウはさすがに聴かれませんでしたが、仲たがいしていたサンプルとヘンダーソンが、こうしていっしょに演奏していることが嬉しいです。 （いつかスティックス・フーパーも入れてあげてほしい。） ベースがジョー・サンプルの息子ニクラスというのもいいですね。
