We kinda already have a baby’s first extraction shooter, Helldivers 2. Stay with me here, you do a mission, extract, no PvP so you don’t get ganked and you control the difficulty of the AI to suit you and your squad. Perfect! Hunt Showdown protects your character until level 10, is only 12-15 players per map, and has similar trappings to battle royale games (map reduction being the big one) It's as close as we've gotten to an entry level extraction shooter

Zombies is pretty fun in third person. I’ve just been just playing solo and ignoring all the Easter egg story stuff because they are gonna dumb it down for plebs like me in the future for a more guided story. I really enjoyed the main campaign, and appreciated how much it felt like a big dumb action movie and that we were basically fighting Cobra.

Back in the day it was taboo here in the UK to talk about who you voted for, like talking about how much you earn it's just not something you do. I want those times back as I understand the value of it all being kept a secret, it stops division, keep your political thoughts to yourself and there will be no arguments or fights. When I were a kid I thought it was really stupid and I was one the first generation that was loud and proud, but I realise now that it is the wrong way forward. I do not understand why people feel the need to constantly protest and campaign about what they stand for, it's another one of those American things that we've sadly imported and again it creates division. I don't want to go back to the days of even the 90s where you were shamed for being gay for example, but I also do not need to hear people constantly go on about it as if their whole identity is about them being gay. Just this weird new bizarre thing that really picked up about 10 years ago and I just hope the new generations coming up are tired of it.

This whole concord mess is even worse honestly because earlier this year CA had Hyenas shut down by sega which was a hero shooter as well. So this studio watched another studio burn money and decided thiers would break through into a crowded over saturated genre market.

Handhelds now have no place as the hardware is powerful enough to do full sized gaming. Nintendo realized this and why they switched to the Switch, plus no one wants to split their development studios up to two different platforms like that. The Vita had that problem but people forget so did the Wii U's failure meant Nintendo focused more on the 3DS... Just Sony in reverse. I do think it is sad in a way because it's always fun to have limitations that breed different kinds of games that handhelds traditionally did. Sadly now if we ever got a PSP3, it would just be like the Steam Deck, which some people would love but I personally would just see no point when the Steam Deck exists and is open, not a closed platform.
