Keep the Jericho II as a tactical version, but I'd love to see a re-release of the original, steel Jericho 941 with the smooth dust cover up front. Those things looked sharp. And also obligatory space cowboy credit.

You can always buy a Glock 30. I love mine even though it's old and I purchased it used. I've never owned a gun where I enjoyed the muzzle flip, until this one. It absolutely never makes my hand sore and is controllable but feels invigorating with every trigger pull. The new ones don't have finger grooves just like Faye's. But all of them pretty much look exactly like hers, since you don't really see her grip much.

The Jericho II has been out for over a year. It fixes all my gripes about the old Jericho series, including the combat-unusable non-ambi safety and just being too bulky overall. The problem is there are no tritium sights available for it yet (all my research indicates PL sights will not fit), and that is the dealbreaker. Were there trits available from Meprolight or another major vendor, I WOULD buy this pistol in a heartbeat. I own an old Jericho 941 FL, which, except for the sight cut and lack of finger grooves, is identical to the PL9 in all respects. I looked into the Jericho II when I upgraded last year, but the lack of tritium sights is what pushed me to the Sig M17 (my 941 FL has been upgraded with Meprolight tritiums). If they ever do release tritium sights, though, I likely will buy this pistol for my father since I have plenty of magazines available (they take CZ-75b mags which are cheaply available from Mec-Gar).

ya but not as crappy and useless as a gross cz...(the idiots glock) 😢
@009013M32 жыл бұрын
@@jamesR1990 THe design suffers from objective shift. The old steel models arguably surpassed the CZ75 series as the apex predators of the steel-framed combat pistol era. You get the model with the factory custom single action only trigger and the F series configuration so the safety is on the frame and makes an extremely comfortable thumb rest, and suddenly you are breaking shots like a glass rod, you're putting half as much grip strength into it which means virtually zero point of impact shift when you tense to fire, the beavertail sits noticeably higher and conbines well with the little bit of factory trigger guard undercut, the weight distribution was *just* right. This meant you had an indestructible pistol that was almost match accurate, pointed like a gun half its size, kicked like a pistol half as powerful, and was lightning quick on the followup. Unfortunately it was also 38 ounces. THat special sauce added up. These days, people don't want to carry that. ANd doctrinally, it makes sense that if you know you're going to be carrying your pistol WAY more than you're going to be shooting it, then over time that raw performance stops mattering to the institutional buyer. That's when weight and cost start to be the dominant factors in selection, hence the era of "Every pistol is hard to distinguish from a GLOCK".
@That1_CopDude2 жыл бұрын
That’s kind of a difficult question to answer in the world of polymers, especially if the firearm you’re presenting is a derivative clone of another firearm. Other than aesthetics it’s damn near the exact same as the tanfoglio witness line, which is itself a clone of another. The only thing that I see that might be a selling point for the Jericho is if it has a decocker, than in my opinion it’s a better justifiable buy over the Italian copy of the Cz-75.
