People always compare jets against each other, or one particular NATO jet vs a Russian jet 1v1, but something rarely considered is the sheer range and variety of aircraft Russia would have to deal with (same applies to other things such as tanks, ships, even infantry ect). It's hard enough facing one world-class jet, but having to face a variety of world-class jets coordinating with each other, yet each with different doctrines, weapons systems and capabilities would make thing's much more difficult.
