the movie tells otherwise, but I love the fan theory that the Jetsons and Flintstones live in the same world, but different societies. CAT: I think in all probability, Wilma Flintstone is the most desirable woman that ever lived. LISTER: That's good. I thought I was going strange. CAT: She's incredible! LISTER: What do you think of Betty? CAT: Betty Rubble? (Pause) Well, I would go with Betty... but I'd be thinking of Wilma. LISTER: This is crazy. I was eight when it came out, and I've always sort of vaguely remembered watching it as a kid, but only the one time (pretty sure my parents rented the VHS for me). I didn't actually remember anything about the plot except for, well, the title concept. Weirdly, one thing I do remember (I think) is watching it in my parents' room, because there was a VCR in there and my parents were probably watching something else in the living room.

There were hardly any other videos available at the store so I picked it up. I brought it home and put it in my VCR the next day. I could not stop laughing the first time I watched it. I personally rate this crossover way higher than you do, but I still like the review. I still own the videotape copy today. In 1965-66, The Great Gazoo (voiced by the Great Harvey Korman) sent the gang into the future (2065 AD). Funny thing, is not only Don Messick from Jetsons, and sometimes Flintstones, and all of the previous earlier Hb shows guesting, but the actress then (in Hanna-Barbera cartoons, anyway) primarily known asa voice, only as Judy Jetson, Janet Waldo, plays a typical teen girl, a la Judy, , dancing with a (presumed) Don Messick-voice renage "space" boy at a discotheque when the Flintstones and the Rubbles were there, trying to dance...at the end the Gazoo returns them. "The Long, Long, Long Weekend"(Mr.Slate's descendant, sounding, and voiced just like Mr.Slate by John Stephenson, also makes an appearnace.) VERY Jetsons-like!
