Thank you Dr Abramson. There’s nothing like being there in person and ‘on site’ to explore past history. Enjoy your cruise, keep safe and go easy on the ‘indulgences’, ha ha.

Very informative, as your videos always are, thank you for putting the time and effort into your studies so that we may also benefit from your knowledge. As a catholic I'm am often taken back, saddened, and remorseful by how cruel our history can sometimes be especially when it deals with those who profess a love and desire for G-d. Thank you again for all you do.

Thank you, Dr. Abramson for this very well-informed tour of historical Rouen. I toured Rouen in October 2019, but I learned much more on this remote tour nearly 3 years later. As a fellow Canadian. I am sad to learn about the passing last weekend of Canadian Jewish historian Irving Martin Abella CM OOnt FRSC. I am hopeful that you will devote a future video focusing on the work and contributions of Dr. Irving Abella.

Enjoy your cruise! I’m a gentile but I’d love to join you one of these days! Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺 PS Lent is the 40 day of fasting/going without leading up to Easter. As you noted, rich food like butter, fat and also meat were not eaten. The Tuesday before Lent was therefore called Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) when all the rich food was eaten up, including pancakes made from butter and eggs. Also the Carnival which is also held before Lent comes from the Latin “ Carne Vale” ( “Farewell Meat) 😊

Dr Abrahamson, your pronunciation of Rouen is excellent, but you are also Canadian, so maybe you are bilingual... I'm giving you a score of 11/10!
