Greetings, I have 4th great great grandparents that come from Borgo Val di Taro, Province of Parma, Emilia-Romagna, Italy.. I's there a Sephardic Portuguese or Jewish community. Is there a surname list in this area.

My family roots in Sicily coming from Spain as my maternal nana always said. Her maiden name was Russo.Santa Margarita. Both of her grandparents were Russo. My grandfather was Pipitone (maternal) (Alamo vacinity) My father’s dad was D’Angelo from Marsala.

Because that wasn’t his topic. And that’s too broad a statement. Ashkenazi Jews didn’t originate in just one place, or time.
