Joan Rivers on Marilyn Monroe. Suggest everryone check out this video of Joan talking about meeting Marilyn at the dinner party of Monroe`s lawyer whose son she was dating (when in college) Marilyn according to Rivers was shy and seated herself next to Rivers who was perhaps the least threatening. (Jane Fonda also mentions that Monroe sought the safety of women) According to Rivers Marilyn gave her two pieces of advice: one, men are stupid and two, they like big breasts. (Well if they like them so much why the high incidence of female cancers and breast removals?) Anyway, I played the video twice; once without the sound. What comes across just from the title defining the encounter is that Rivers saw Monroe as a role model. That said, while Mairlyn was able to go from slum kid to Hollywood princess, Rivers was unable to reverse the procedure. All dolled down and scummy she ended up looking dreadful, not even tarty, just dreadful.

There's nothing more annoying than going to comments section of old videos and all the people saying this is the best when it's definitely not. It's not bad but it's not the best. Louie CK is way more sophisticated and funny than Joan, for example.
