Nice overview! Torn on this, really. Its great to have some of these back in print, but many of the Jodo books are done such a disservice being printed in such a small format. Gimme more coffee table books!

Omar, it caught my attention when you mentioned the words a little to the left of the baloon that the page turns are different. In my opinion that's even more important, because it changes the readers' experience (you know, the suspense left to the next page turn, etc). It's still one of the pros of reading in paper x digital. Was it corrected in this version according to what the author originally created, or is the previous version the correct one? I find even marvel and dc books do this unfortunately. I think sometimes the shuffle has to do with removing ad placements. I agree it impacts the storytelling, so I've trained myself to try to not look at the right side of a spread after turning a page. saludos!

I`ll have to buy & read The Incal Before Taika Waititi makes his film. But that means I`ll have to read my Metabaron omni too. This book looks good though.

Jodorowski is also an academic, philosopher, therapist and I think has done mime and puppet theatre. Very much an all rounder. Is there any chance you could an interview with him. That would be amazing.

It's good that they collect all of this in the same format but I'm slightly disappointed that it's not at least oversized like an omnibus.

Amo el Jodoverse, por suerte tengo la totalidad de la saga del Incal (Before The Incal, The Incal, After The Incal y Final Incal) y estoy completando la saga de Metabarons (Metabarons First Cycle, Second Cycle), hace poco conseguí uelTPD de Metabarons: Alpha/Omega, el cual trae partes no publicadas del Incal y de Metabarons (The Crest of Castaka, Incal: The Lost Pages, Metabarons 1: The Lost Pages y The Last Metabaron con el arte de Travis Charest) Me esta faltando Weapons of the Metabaron y Metabaron Genesis: Castaka, que por suerte tengo entendido que vendran ambos publicados en el vol.3 del Jodorowsky Library, y en el vol.2 vendrá Son of the Gun y Pietrolino. I regret not saying anything earlier because I don't like being a smartass, but I gotta because I care about you and the channel and it is only right to pronounce the author's name correctly, Jodorowsky is pronounced "Yodorovskee", without the English "J" and "ow" and with a short "ee". The right pronunciation is like Omar says, in latin american spanish you pronounce the J, and don't have to add the english accent to it, it sound like you read it.

@@raulgarderes3333 not really. the "j" leter in spanish sound like the "h" in the englesh word "home". Hodorousky is more correct. Edit: Acabo de leer tu nombre y si entiendes español... Omar pronuncia Jodorowsky como si empezara con Y.

@@raulgarderes3333 But it isn't a Spanish surname, his roots are Slavic, is that not obvious? Many people forget their roots and mispronounce their surnames, in USA they change surnames out of legal reasons, Jodorowsky surname however was not a case like that, the surname stayed the same for several generations, which means it's likely Russian and it's pronounced the way I described it, if someone pronounces it Djodorowskee or Chodorowskee, it's wrong, they're butchering the name, no matter who says it

0:18 Is it sort of a meme or just mistake in pronunciation? I mean, "J" in Alejandro you pronouncing right - similarly the surname should reads as "Hodorowsky", because it's a hispanic spelling variation of Polish language surname Chodorowski (J [es] = Ch [pl] = H [en])

So this is the same size as Bouncer? If so Ill pass, as much as a fan of Jodorowski and the art on this stories I can´t stand that size and Iam sorry Humanoids keeps releasing this stuff in a non Oversize... I´ll keep waiting for a reprint of Incal Ltd ed and to get this stuff in Oversize.
