Great video man! Idk how to feel about the design, but the “mud” concept may have worked better with a digi camo design or keeping the splatter the same color on each colorway. It’ll probably sit regardless tho bc Zion isn’t even playing… Please bring back the live streams man they were so fun

The white/silver/black colorway gives serious classic Jordan 5 vibes & I’m a sucker for white upper with a black midsole. I dug the Zion 2 as well but the drop in midsole is an automatic no go for me, a sad byproduct of needing custom insoles. 😒

Bro if you check the Air Jordan line, the 3 was a huge departure from the 2. The 3 and 4 were related, but the 5 was a departure from the 4. the 6 was a departure from the 5. The 8 was a huge departure from the 7, etc. So Brand Jordan have been doing departures for a while now. Peace.

Yes. Visually. But the tech was very similar across all the models. The Zion 3 is a totally different experience from the 2 and 1.

@@JAHRONMON Not really bro. Within the Jordan line with regards to tech, the departure came with the 3 from the 2. From the 3 to the 6 they felt relatively the same under foot. The 7 felt different from the 6. They felt lower to the ground and had encapsulated air in the heel, not visible air. The 8 has a similar feel under foot. .The 9 felt different than the 8 but had the same tech, but has a higher stack off the ground. The 10 introduced full length air under foot with a phylon midsole similar to the 11, then the 12 introduced full length Zoom Air and they felt completely different than the 11s. The 13's also had full length zoom but thy felt lower to the ground then the 12s. And the 14s went to Zoom in the forefoot, and encapsulated air in the heel. So Jordan has been switching it up a lot. I played in all those shoes, I remember the differences. LOL!! Peace.

The Air Jordan line is also the most revolutionary signature line of all-time and they were innovating, like you said, from model to model. But modern signature lines do not take that approach and for the most part, deliver similar experiences to cater to their consumers.

From what I comprehended from your message was that you were saying the Zion 3 was too much of a departure from the other 2 models, and that this was not the norm for Brand Jordan. Zion 2s were a great performer. You're right though.. I'm unsure about the 3 now because it's completely different. It's very promising and love the tech used but it's not an instant cop after loving the 2s because they kept nothing except maybe the heel shape.

Im warming up to the zion 3 but I still stand by this and it looks to much like a metcon or superrep from nike. It visually looks like something you would workout in at the gym (not basketball). I like the 2s alot. They performed very well for me and the visuals were dope. Kinda gave me Jordan 13 vibes.
