Would you consider having a hospital go bag in the car at all times ? We are an asthmatic family here so always keep a go bag as hospital trips can happen very quickly. Just a thought to save you sleeping in your clothes etc. ours contain pjs, fresh undies, washbag, spare meds, phone charger and a pack of cards.

I was going to write the exact same thing! I have a “hospital go” bag. I resisted having one for a LONG time. For me it was just a mental/emotional thing, ( not wanting one). It has been a lifesaver twice. I highly recommend it for anyone with a chronic illness that requires hospitalization from time to time.. sometimes without warning.

I know that feeling of feeling like a new person its so surreal. Its like a new you, a functioning new you. Im on steriods for brain swelling cause by radiation and I have energy, I have gained weight, my skin is glowing and I feel alive!

poor peter. I always think of mary but I forget how terrifying it must be to think it might be the end and some day he will have to say goodbye. .. I know this is a reality for him but that doesn't make it easy or something he has experienced before with his wife. He is wise beyond his years and I hope they both have many years together to come

I have a feeling Peter keeps it in good perspective that that is true with all marriages. One of you will likely pass before the other and you never know when it could be. That doesn't negate the difficulty but i'm really sure he doesn't focus on that. I know I wouldn't if my husband was sick I would cherish each moment.

I am well aware they both knew each other when younger and how they have accepted the reality of her health, which i stated in my original comment. I was simply commenting on how difficult it would be to lose your wife versus how Mary's condition as a viewer tugs at my heart strings. Peter is human not a robot and imagining him being left a widower is heart wrenching. this is why i also stated earlier I hope they have many years together.. . . you put a lot of your own issues in your comment that I had not stated, by assuming that was what I meant. I hope this clears it up. also I have chronic illness as well and you don't need to speak on behalf of people with chronic illnesses. We all have very unique walks in this life and can speak for ourselves. I hope God brings you peace.

A few months ago i got into hospital with an infection and i had to take colistin. I never expected side effects from it but my mouth fell asleep and it stayed like that for a week!! It was not nice haha I'm glad you feel better angel 💕

It’s so nice seeing you with a big smile on your face now that you can feel it haha. You have some colour back in your face and it’s not just red in your cheeks haha! I pray that we all find someone like Peter! You relationship warms my heart and gives me hope for finding someone who will be so understanding about the CF I remember when i was in hospital a few weeks ago having some meds that went through a site in my tummy and i was happily sat there watching tv and i panicked suddenly feeling like i had an accident and my line had come loose and i was soaking so i feel your pain there Mary!

Im sayin like 50lbs. in one month. Chronic pain....and i have many mental illnesses. I feel so alone. I have a vlog that only has 21 subscribers....but, im very happy for you guys. I was on that drug after colin surgery, and the side effects from the drug were worse than any of the pain before surgery! I really feel for you!

My...boyfriend...idk....is getting groceries. I could bearly get to the car. ***sigh*** sorry, im being a bit selfish here! My son is with me so that is a blessing. He is 7. Autistic though. Hes in the middle of the spectrum. Ok sorry to talk your ...face off. Lol! I've been praying...because God is so good!
