I know this is "The Minimal Mom" - but I don't think of this channel as Dawn's "stage" as described (jokingly) in the video - I really feel that Diana and Tom bring their own magic to this "show" and I consider this channel "an ensemble cast" where all three get to shine in their own way and provide entertainment, wisdom, and knowledge that complements one another. Other channel creators would be wise to follow Dawn's lead and share the stage with others in their lives who also have so much to give to the audience. Keep shining - all three of you are diamonds! Since I watch on my smart TV, I almost never make a comment, much less read them. But today I wanted you to know that I enjoyed this 'recap' sort of video and appreciate the work that must have gone into editing it! I am not a minimalist but I have decluttered and downsized when I recently (a year ago?) moved across several states. I just realized something today. I found you during this lockdown due to the plague. You have been my weekly friends during this time. I’ve learned so many helpful tips from you, but most of all, I have enjoyed your company. I am a widow and my son passed away when he 24 as the result of an automobile accident which was 26 yrs ago. My parents have gone to be with the Lord and so have all my aunts and uncles. My brother lives 4 hrs away, so I have been very isolated. You all have been a ray of sunshine in my world. Hi Guys! I’ve been wanting to reach out for some time now... I have been following you for quite some time now. I am married to Jimmy with 3 little girls Sophia (7), Lillian (5) and Tori (3). 2 years ago today (just realized 🤧 as I’m typing this) I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It was about a 10 months process of treatment and surgeries but I am proud to share I am now cancer free! 😅🙏🏻. I have to tell you I felt so out of control, my world was flipped upside down and just beyond overwhelmed with my ‘new norm’ coupled with being a mama of 3 small humans. So in that time, I discovered your channel which I was quite new to “youtubers” and just fell in love with you and your way of life. It made so much sense and I knew this is what I needed to work towards to free up my mental space so I could handle ‘all the things’ life throws at you. You have taught me so much and I have to say you have brought me so much comfort, laughs and entertainment throughout this recent battle of mine and continue to do so!! I spread your gospel to all my mama friends who are hanging on by a thread like the rest of us. I’m so grateful for you taking the time to put together these videos on a consistent basis and always with a smile on your face! I feel like we know each other haha. When my husband and I were dating, I remember my mom asking if we were serious and I responded by telling her he was just a friend! It’s a really good idea to marry your best friend. Even after eight years I still miss him! I was so blessed! We also did soooo many remodeling projects on our house and we worked so well together!

I do think the hospitals are equipped with the right kind of ventilation and they are certainly taking all the precautions, but I would be nervous too, honestly. I do hope everything goes well! This is my first time commenting on your videos, Dawn. I discovered your channel through Joshua Becker just before the quarantine. Since mid-March, I have watched just about all the videos you’ve done and I credit you with helping me get through this difficult period of time. I have two toddlers and being all together under the same roof with minimal help has been really tough. Your videos are always something to look forward to when so many other things I would typically look forward to have been cancelled. The love and laughter you share always make me feel better. I absolutely love y’all! I find myself looking forward to your videos. I have been de-cluttering my house & life since October 2019. It certainly has been challenging but oh so rewarding. I have suffered from depression & anxiety for years. I am breaking free from it & feel like I have my life back. The clutter no longer owns me. I have finally gotten my family on board. I often refer to y’all as my friends from MN, even my husband says it,lol. I am thankful God gave you the gift of helping others. We may never meet but you hold a very special place in my heart. I literally screamed “WHAT?!?!?” with hands over my mouth when you said how you and Tom met 😱🤣😂 Oh my oh my! You are so right, that is INCREDIBLY awkward!!!!! I just have to say, I’m glad you were raised very conservative bc a lot of relationships jump in early and share each themselves with each other like in a marriage. Same here! I LUV Dawn and Tom, and recently discovered Diana. Upon hearing these news about Tom and Dawn's feelings, I've felt a little awkward, wondering how 'close' Tom and Diana really were, how did Diana really feel about the whole thing, especially about them marrying so quickly!! Dawn was super happy at Diana's wedding, worried if Diana felt the same joy at Dawn's. She has said how hard she prayed for a husband and how God answered her. Don't get me wrong, I think you are precious, marvelous ladies, and I'm so glad you all are loving, Christian, and compassionate. But I'm feeling awkward and uncomfortable about the situation, silly me 😱😄!! I LUV u and Tom, you're Adorable!! Help 😮😊😅

My husband “dated” my best friend in middle school and I viewed him as a “brother/friend” for years. Even telling him that when he asked me out the first time. Obviously that changed somewhere bc we have been together for almost 15 years now. This video just goes to show how we can “plan” our lives but God’s plan for our life will always be even better if we just follow Him.

You guys and your videos are such a JOY. They came along for me during a time when myself and the entire planet need good news, good stories, and uplifting people. Your channel and family check all of those boxes. I look forward to discovering new videos almost daily. I found you while doing a search for decluttering. I kept seeing these videos for The Minimal Mom. I though, “minimalism isn’t me!” Your smiling face kept drawing me in and I finally clicked on a video. I am so glad I did!! I haven’t jumped into decluttering full on yet, but wow... everything you’ve shared has been insightful and so helpful. My story for why decluttering has been pushed off is tough to face. I went from being married for 18 years and homeschooling our three children to being a single mom while grieving the tragic loss of my oldest son. I haven’t been able to go through any of our things because of the overwhelming grief. It’s time to face as much as I can. Baby steps and grace for myself are at the top of my tool kit right next to deep breathing. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Please know how much of a blessing you are!! With so much love. - Kelly
